Went through Sakurasou on a serious binge. Wound up liking it a lot.

It reminded me in an odd way of Your Lie in April. Like, a much lighter version where Kaori has less cancer and more autism.

Thanks for the rec! It was amazing! The characters were really interesting, the slice of life and romance aspects were definitely entertaining. All in all, not something I would forget anytime soon. The only complaint I have is that i didnt get to see the main couple get together in the end. Do you have any other recommendations? It neednt be this genre but it's fine if it is. Just something you find amazing.

I watched Yona and thought it was okay. Some parts were pretty good, some parts dragged. Mostly I feel like I'm going to refrain from rating it because the whole season was basically set-up and character introduction and I won't know how much I liked it until another season comes out and I see the payoffs.

btw I don't mind longer suggestions if it's for something that might be very good

@Ryokei-san: I have my own list in a notebook that I keep track of, I just don't want to go through the hassle of putting all of the anime I've seen in my anime list.

@moofles: Yeah unfortunately it doesn't seem like we will get a second season any time soon. Although I suppose you could read the manga if you were really curious. And you have been forced into: Bakuman. A longer series, but you might like it.

@Book_Lover I googled and saw a headline saying possibly 2018 but I wasn't looking too seriously. I'll probably forget the anime exists by the time it does come out - if ever - but I'll be interested to watch it if it occurs to me. Maybe if I'm still checking these forums you'll remind me ^.^

will check out Bakuman soon, I've been enjoying series about people being artistic and/or creating things lately so I have high hopes from the MAL description

Bad jokes aside.. Thanks for the rec!! I enjoyed it quite a bit, it had quite a few very moving moments and emotionally tense scenes. I really hope lots of people keep using this thread.. I'd go as far as calling it healthy for the industry with the whole discovery aspect of it all, good stuff!!
