I say they're will be no season 2 of this (Sakurasou no pet kanojo). You wanna know why? Because if you read the light novel of this, it's really f*cked up but ain't gonna spoil (I mean just a little). So the thing is, the main characters in the story (Mashiro and Sorata) started dating and then you're wondering, do they kiss? Mate, they do more than that. So to answer all of our questions. No there will be no season 2 of the anime and if you understand Japanese, read the light novel, there's a surprise for you guys that ain't gonna spoil:>

It's best you don't read past where the anime finishes cause the source material goes to shit afterwards. I love the show, but I'd rather slit my wrists than having the series' reputation being ruined. It's as good as it is.

It's been 7 years since the first season ended, I've read and cried over 10 volumes of light novels, I've watched the anime over and over countless times.. But I don't think there's a hope for season two, maybe if some other studio in the future decided to pickup the series their is a chance of that happening but for now there is no hope I guess...

Man I want second season. Idk why but most of my favorite anime won't make a second season like in case of toradora I can understand that the don't have enough source material but for Sakura sou they do.

Just finished watching the anime, really want to a season 2 to look forward to. This series is a very relaxing, yet motivating and moving one, one of my favourites.... Hope that they will make a season 2 at least by the end of 2021. Fingers crossed.

The anime is good as it is. I'd rather the 2nd season never happened, given what transpired after in the LN. If J.C decided to make a 2nd season, then they'd better come up with a new storyline. Otherwise, the new season would just be a public execution of a franchise I love

This anime already got its 24-26 episodes.

Thats like saying another season for Toradora or KimiKiss or Golden Time. They all got their 24-26 episodes so they dont need another season. Thats far enough.

However, an OVA/Special Episode epilogue would be nice.

just finished the anime it was wonderful in the same style as Oregairu. Indeed, I want a s2 but if we really think about it it’s better to leave it like that I don’t want to have drama after that ending it was perfect. You are true fans it’s been 8 years that you ask for a s2 like you were part of the anime. Sadly we’ll have to leave a part of us in the anime and luckily we leave behind a part of us who have seen a great ending as weird, funny, sad, comforting as Sakurasou.
