It never actually happened in the first place outside of Minko's head. A bit like portraying a dream sequence in a show, but the way daydreams and imagination sequences are edited and transition in and out can sometimes be confusing or misleading. |
| Best episode yet. Just wonderful. The show is really getting into a groove, loving these episodes. I have to say the first few episodes were a little rough, with the weird fan service, the creepy writer, Minko's abrasiveness and the mistress slapping Ohana. It was almost like they were overexcited without a clear direction back then, but now they're figuring out who these characters really are and what stories really resonate. Hallucinating about work even when you're resting with a fever, relatable. It was also amazing how they show what it feels like to be delirious, where everything's out of order, you're never sure if things really happened, and your emotions get out of whack. Ohana's tears running down sideways as she thinks she's not needed was also relatable and charming. |
| You know when they show characters being sick in anime it's usually like 1 day then they're all better... this really surprised me, she goes several days in really bad shape- tough a fever alone isn't that bad of a situation compared to a runny nose and a sore throat oh god But she's texting on the phone to Mr You know Who... oh lord. And they're implying that Tohru likes her now. He really isn't into Michi is he. I can kinda see why; Ohana tries really hard but actually makes progress. Michi is a dullard in the kitchen. She can't even broil some fish without burning it? God what a moron. But Tohru being into Ohana isn't much better, isn't she like 16? Geezus... I think she's crying at the end because she realized Ko finally dropped her? Well it's painful; and you feel bad for the poor girl, for both of them really, but their lives took different paths and it's for the best. You can't have a relationship with someone at 16 years old just texting on a phone. That isn't right. But it sucks. This anime is really good at portraying emotions. 5/5 again |
