| it depends honestly on how good the series! it could be a few hours, could be a whole day, could be a week, could even be a month on and off. i know i have more than one series on hold that i've forgotten about and have to rewatch so i won't say years, yet, lmao |

| If I'm madly in love with it and enjoying tf out of it? A day, easily. If I'm not so into it? Up to a week. Slightly unrelated note but I finished a season of game of thrones in a day (referring to seasons 1-4, when it had actually masterful writing), each episode being an hour long, a season would be 10 hours. To put that into perspective, an episode of anime is typically 20 minutes, times twelve and that's only 4 hours. No problem, again, if I'm enjoying it. Now let's go to game of thrones season 5, where writing takes a huge downgrade and marks the beginning of the downfall of what was one of tv's greatest shows. Took me over 2 weeks to get through that. Took a break from GOT for maybe nearly two months and got back into it recently. Despite clearly not being as good as before, I actually churned through seasons 6-8 rather quickly, taking only about 1 or 2 days per season. I'm actually halfway through season 8 right now, just finished "The Long Night". Sure it's trash compared to what we got before, but going in with an open mind, it's actually not too bad. Ok, don't know why I'm mentioning all that, but back on topic, yes a small 12 episode anime I can finish straight through in one sitting no problem, if I'm enjoying it. For some reason I was really enjoying akame ga kill (24 episodes) and finished that in one sitting, no joke. Like I literally sat in the same spot the whole time and went through it all. Maybe I got up to use the washroom once but that's it. But again, if I'm not so into it, it'll take me forever. Recently tried watching Monster. Was really intrigued in the beginning, but after that I watched like one episode a day, or couple of days. Was relieved when an episode was over and had no wish to watch the next one. Lasted 10 episodes, and just dropped it yesterday. Yeah I know you all call it a masterpiece but to me it started to drag real fast. No way I'm sitting through another 64 episodes of that. Sorry! | It honestly depends on the series. Recently I finished Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san in a day and that was cuz I really enjoyed it. I usually finish 12 ep shows in a week or less generally. If it goes beyond that then I usually just drop the show cuz it's not keeping my attention. |
