And now the Bebop crew expands... Even if the new member isn't exactly well liked to begin with. The insert song midway through the episode is always great, i couldn't remember any more at this point if it was in the film or the regular animated series. Finally, great... Punch and Judy already show up, they have always been a enjoyable comic relief since my first run of the show.

Well... another order is behind us, it's a pity that there is no specific plot, I'm not convinced about the formula of the wanted bad guy of the week in this case, I hope longer plots appear as soon as possible or the rest of the characters join the team, so that at least the dynamics of the characters compensate for such moderately engaging plots, ok... the action is good but for now I miss some bigger goal of the characters that I could get involved in, so that I would care whether the MC manages to complete the order, such a random action that does not add up to something bigger is meh but still, the MC and the atmosphere keep me with it, I hope it will be better.

Honestly, i didn't like it at first but the more i rewatch the series and this episode it turns better. Its pretty fun.

What the hell did I just watch? Episode 1 had a tragic, grounded feel, and now Spike is running after a dog in a completely different tone. One second, he’s dodging bullets, the next, he’s flipping over cars for a damn corgi. The whole episode feels like controlled chaos—no deep themes, just pure randomness.

Abdul Hakim is built like a final boss but gets clowned the entire time. Spike is effortlessly cool as always, but he spends most of the episode playing Tom & Jerry with Ein. And somehow, it still works. The action is slick, the comedy lands, and the episode has that same effortless style.

This show is unpredictable as hell, and I have no idea where it's going. But I’m here for it.

My favorite part of the show is the big shot segment. Now the mission is in Mars and in a place like china, when the ship was arriving there was a lady saying something in chinese, I wonder what she said. And the mission was a dog who is now part of the team. I remember this episode different, I remember that the dog had a collar with a chip and the scientists were after the dog because of that but that wasn't mentioned, maybe I'm confusing things from the next episode but now the team has a new member. Poor couple, just married and their vehicle stolen, what a wedding haha.

I really liked the appearance of an Arab character like Abdul Hakim even tho he was introduced as a thief but he was a well written character with actual standards i really wish we can see more about him and what he needed with that dog and who was the guy who called him but overall this episode was great it had the great music chase run

this anime came out in 1998 and it shows. the animation is pretty dull in some parts, and there isn't much plot yet. i think this would be remedied by reading the manga first. the first episode held promise, but this second episode felt very disconnected... i mean i guess we're being introduced to the titular characters. but i know this is a much beloved anime, i'll give it a chance.
