| There's not a lot of things happening in this episode, half of it is recap and the other half tells how the group organize itself with Kira killing as much people as possible, criminals or witnesses... Kira is as cruel as ever but this episode shows something sad, L and Kira are like Batman and The Joker, they are complementary and when one disappears, the other feels a void, like if he wasn't himself anymore But Light is a psychopath, he doesnt think like that for a long time, he start killing again very fast |

| I don't know why Matsuda is made so awkward and honestly rather annoying in this anime. The only thing I expect from him is for him to shut his mouth, everything he says is useless and he once messed up L's plans. No wonder L only told him to make him coffee if he really wanted to be useful. Misa is still alive? Okay... now she's going to stay with Light. Pretty sure it's so Light can more easily watch and control Misa. She still has the power of those shinigami eyes, right? Now that Light is part of the police force, and the world is really being ruled by Kira, the new God. But it seems we'll get a new "L" too? |

| Makes sense that we’d get a bit of a recap episode after all that went down, it was cool seeing the entire L saga again too since my boy just bit it in the previous one. We really have been through a lot so far huh. But most of the second half was new so it wasn’t entirely recap, funny to see that Light realized how boring it is without L, it’s almost like the show might be less exciting without L too… nah I won’t go that far yet lol, I gotta give these new characters a chance. And damn Light was pretty cold with his culling at the end of the episode, he cut down the two that helped the investigation team with the Yotsuba case, as well as the remaining Yotsuba execs, I guess he was cutting loose ends that were involved with him but damn none of them deserved that as far as I know, especially since they all assisted in catching the previous Kira. Oh well, we got a timeskip at the end too so now the world is a lot more for Kira than they were before, I can only hope these fellas that heard about L’s death will take his mantle. And lastly, of course Watari was an amazing person, these are the kind of people Light has killed to achieve his perfect world, truly not worth it. Also wow 2012 huh, that’s so far away lol. But really it is wild that the earliest posts on this thread are even before that year, I love that MAL is like a Time Machine of sorts, |
