The only reason why they are not stacked exactly WITH other LNs is because the size of the Monogatari novels is so much bigger than the bunko format most LNs are in. While some bookstores put Monogatari also in regular novel section, a lot more know that LNs buyers would seek Monogatari novels as well and so put them very close to the LN section. I am pretty sure that they didn't qualify. They are never shelved with the other light novels in any Japanese bookstore I have been to, so I think it is safe to say that it is the exception and not the rule to consider them Light Novels. | So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
