| "Poor" L, depressed that Light doesn't seem to be Kira any more and even tells it loud and proud before fighting each other. He's not Kira. Well, not for now. Aizawa (especially considering his conflicts with L and taking his job seriously unlike a well identified co-worker) always had my respect, and i actually remembered uncorrectly that his family reunion happened after. It was also a good choice for the final scene. Poor daughter, she can't be aware of how he has been through a real lot. |

| Yeah this is the moment of the show when it gets a little less interesting. It's a whole new arc with a new place, new characters, etc and it feels different, it's not as breath taking as the fights between L and Light. Btw L is right when he thinks Kira manipulate people to be the killer but it's strange how he thinks the original Kira is among the Yotsuba corporation and no that it's a total different people. It came from a mastermind killing criminals every hour to an obvious corporate killing three other corporates to make Yotsuba grow every friday. It's obvious this is not the same person and he didn't think about that. Maybe he starts thinking Kira is more a power than a person |
| Aizawa is a pretty great character, it's a shame he didn't join the Ryuzaki team again. The one who should have left the team was Matsuda, honestly.... but maybe he'll be a useful character in the next episode...? |

| It’s odd how the vibe of this show has completely changed with the villain changing to someone else and Light essentially becoming a good guy, I don’t dislike it but it certainly feels different. And honestly I kinda hope Light never gets a hold of the death note again lol, he was a more fun character before but now he’s a true upholder of justice, which is ironic considering that he thought he was with the death note. The sad part is tho I know he will get it back eventually, I don’t know how but it’s gonna happen. And man the relationship between Light and L really is an interesting one, that fight they had was weirdly wholesome lol, like Light is trying to inspire L to get cracking at the case again and L is depressed that the one he thought Kira was isn’t, I’m not sure if I can call it bromance but it sure is a twisted one if so lol. And I do like how L has basically figured out that the death note is changing users without actually knowing about the death note, so for now he thinks Kira is moving through people, he’s not right but it’s close to the truth. Also, it’s sad to see Aizawa go, I get why L did things the way he did but I also completely understand Aizawa’s decision to leave, I think ultimately it’s a good thing he left for his family, he doesn’t have the privilege Yagami does where his kid is right there with them after all, he’ll be missed if he truly is off the case now. But now we’ve got some new faces on the team, they’re gonna mess with the tightness of the group I feel but they could be fun. |
