| I feel like the OG is a bit better written and has a better organized plot, but I still like Sunshine better because I liked the characters more and I was more invested in them more than muse which seemed too focused on Honk. This also is focused a lot on Chika but not too much in my opinion, plus I found Chika a lot more interesting than Honk. Plus Aqours has a lot more hits than muse, who I found most of the songs, outside of a few classics like Snow Halation, Aishteru Banzai, Garasu no Hanazo, etc., to be a bit generic. So overall, OG show is better written but I still like Sunshine because I prefer their leader and other characters. I can totally see people going either way and completely understand it though. For all its flaws, I was more invested and interested in Sunshine! all the way through though. |

| I enjoyed the original better. Sunshine felt like it only existed to remind us and tease of Muse (at first); too many similarities made me feel a bit bored at times. The characters were good but I honestly, I had to remind myself why Yoshiko, Hanamaru, Kanan and Mari wanted to be idols; it seemed that the anime was about a group of girls who just happened to be a idols. I think the original had a better cast, more varied. Also, this is nitpicking, I found annoying Ruby and her voice. Maybe I would've liked Sunshine better if I had gone for it first, but idk. I still got invested at times and had quite a few laughs. |

| After 3 episodes, I have to say this is worse than School Idole Project. Character design is worse, script is kinda bad, her personalities and their introduction is really bad and music, although they have sung just one song, the music is not good. I don't usually like J-Pop and such, but I loved some of the songs in the original, they were really catchy, but not in this "sequel" or whatever. |

| OG! Sunshine had too many obnoxious characters (aside from Hanamaru). The story was very uninteresting. The artwork was a step up from the OG. |
