| When an anime has a scene that genuinely impresses you, and then you watch another anime that has a scene identical to the first anime, is the experience the same, or can you not help but feel bias towards the first anime that impressed you? What I'm trying to say is, when two anime have identical scenes that emotionally move you, do you consider the 2nd anime that you watch with that scene as a "copycat" that doesn't compare to the first anime that gave you that same experience? |

| @Tarotist Hmm, most of the time when I am watching anime, the only thing I am thinking about is the anime that I am currently watching. Even when two anime are identical in nearly every way, I don't compare them while I watch them, so a scene that is moving to me would still be moving, at least while I am watching. Does that make sense? |

| Anime can be watched either Subbed or Dubbed. However, there are some live-action films where two different languages are spoken frequently. What do you think would happen if Japanese and foreign (presumably American) Voice Actors were to collaborate together to voice in an anime where two different languages are spoken throughout the series? | @Tarotist Well, assuming I like the kind of niche studio B is operating of course, I choose studio B I think it would definitely be interesting, and being totally honest I do cringe a bit when a character that is supposed to be American speaks really strong engrish. I do think that they can do the same in anime, the only problem I would have with it would be the contrast between two voices actors for the same character. It would be way worse than watching a subbed anime and then watching the dub. I would watch it. Hmm, Space Dandy |

| Imagine that your all-time favorite character walks in a library, grabs a book (we never know which one) and calmly starts reading it; the camera slowly changes angles and there's absolutely no dialog at all, occasionally you will see the MC moving on to the next page, and keep reading quietly. The next episode is exactly the same, just the MC reading the book and at least we see a mischievous smile that denotes that something important has happened. As the MC walks out of the library, his/her best friend approaches and asks ''did you find what you were looking for?'' and suddenly the background music shift to a powerful violin solo, the MC's eyes are burning with passion and when you are about to hear the reply, the screen fades to black and shows ''to be continue''. How would you feel? |

| Hello everyone. I decided after taking several of Phkay's surveys that it would be fun to make one of my own. Rather than stepping on his toes, and using up his material for a survey I have decided to base mine off food and such. If it goes well than I will do my best to continue on. | @PhKay I don't watch a lot of it, but off the top of my head: K-On, which I don't believe I finished; Gochuumon; and Gakkou Gurashi if it counts as one @Tarotist I would have to say it is improving our socialization. I know many people think that they actually isolate us, but personally, if I am in a situation where I would be on my phone, then I would just distract myself with something else if I didn't have it. |
