| I don't disagree with that in the slightest; empathy is certainly something that society lacks. If people were more considerate of other people instead of letting their personal feelings get in the way of seeing the bigger picture, the world would be a much better place. Then again, nowadays people are more concerned about cultivating their own cognitive intelligence, so ideals like emotional and instinctual/intuitive intelligence are often looked down upon. That in turn affects society both ways. Damn, that's quality thread material. You just gave me an idea. |
