This thread is full of hate...

I'm not intimidated by people with a "higher level of education" than me. I am, however, somewhat intimated by people who have a higher level of knowledge on a subject I deeply care about. I don't care if someone knows "how to science". If so, cool, you're highly educated in useless crap I'll never care about. But if you're like some musician, #respekt (and by this, I mean a good musician, of course)

I feel more comfortable with women with greater education than those that aren't.

Not really, being highly educated doesn't make you intelligent, it just takes away your excuse to be ignorant.
Implying that despite "not" being ignorant, females are still not intelligent enough. People like you are so revolted by the idea of smart women that you deny the existence of the concept.

I think of being educated and being intelligent as two different things; like book smarts and street smarts.
I don't deny the existence of intelligent women; they just don't draw much attention to them selves and usually go unnoticed.

Why would I be? There are always going to be people who are more educated than me. It doesn't matter what sex they are.

I'm intimidated by females in general. As far as level of education goes, progressing through university until I got my degree taught me that having a PhD does not make you an impressive person. Some people are more suited towards academic research, or obsessed with a certain field of academic research, but that doesn't make them intimidating, or amazing. In fact a lot of doctors I've met suffered from light asperger syndrome, or at least that's what I was told about them (and to be honest it was visible from their behaviour). Additionally, there's a difference between education and intelligence, although there's no doubt that education allows you to hone yourself. Don't judge the book by its cover, higher education is not as exclusive as it used to be. After all, I got through, so anybody can.

Ditto that. And I find girls who work hard at their studies to be really cute.

However, the implications of this question do disturb me.

I took some time off from school, so a lot of my close friends are in grad school. It doesn't intimidate me - I really don't feel any less intelligent.

No. To be honest I would find it enjoyable to be taught some more about more things. Would be great if I could find someone who is more knowledgable and is able to show me new perspectives.

Here's the PC answer: All women are beautiful and special.

Here's the real answer: I either need to be entertained or engaged, so I prefer the intelligent but could be fine with someone dumb if they were at least entertaining.
