| Ok...I just HAVE to get this thing out of my system. It has been getting on my nerves for quite awhile now. I completely and utterly hate it when people (mostly homophobes) associate yaoi-watching with some kinda stupid and barely a teenager fourteen-year-old rabid fangirl who watches two guys subtexting. I mean, I won't deny that I'm a fangirl and sometimes I do go rabid but COME ON PEOPLE, its offensive when they put it that way. We may love our yaoi but its not all about the smexing. Some yaoi anime have elements that most romantic anime lack even. But I'm getting way ahead of myself. I actually want to know how old you guys really are, just to prove a point. And I'd really love for your cooperation. Well then, I'll go first. I am not a fourteen-year-old fangirl, I'm 18. ^_^ (Oh btw, its totally ok if you are 14,and I'm not trying to offense anyone here. I'm just fed-up with yaoi-haters,that's all) |

| I am a rabid yaoi fangirl most of the time and I'm 36 so there lol. I agree that a lot of the yaoi anime and manga have a certain quality that I find lacking in the "straight" romance animes and manga. Of course it helps that there are hot guys involved also. But it's not all about the sexy stuff (well sometimes it is hehe). |

| I'm 19!! And got into yaoi 2 years ago :P I think that if I would have watched yaoi at 14 it would've have corrupted what was left of my innocent mind XD And yes! I totally agree. I gotta admit that sometimes I watch it for the smex but MOST of the time I read it because it's adorable. Right now I'm really into the novels because with the mangas you only get a little bit of their relaitonship, but in the novels you are inside the minds of one of them and you can really feel their love for each other. It's cute ^.^ |

| I´m 16 years old. I started watching when I was 15. Well I agree that fourteen is a little too young to watch hard yaoi. Even I don´t watch hard core yaoi. I think it´s disgusting too watch. I watch types like junjou romantica, level c, kirepapa, okane ga nai and that sort of yaoi. Well thats just my opinion. |
