| Definetly Serial Experiments Lain. Second would be Paranoia Agent. But Mushi Uta ep 1 showed high potential (melancholy, decent humor, which doesn't disturb the dark flow :3, Dementia) |

| Right now I'd have two say my Favourite Dark Anime would have to be Elfen Lied it was awesome : o lots of gore and I really liked the story it was cool. My second up would be Hellsing. I'm into the whole vampire thing <3 and the characters were really well drawn and the story was pretty good aswell. : D |

| Elfen Lied and Death Note ... ...although Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is becoming one if it can keep its quality throughout the series. Been meaning to watch serial experiment lain and hellsing (or hellsin ultimate, i'm not too sure of the difference between them) but i'm trying to complete berserk first. |

| I'm with OmegaJudgement on this one. Elfen Lied and Death Note were two awesome dark anime series. Gantz and Berserk are also in my top choices for best dark anime. |

| Since i've recently finished Monster i have to say that it's my favourite Dark anime by far. Hell it's made it into my top 5 quite easily. |

| Let's see, I am still kinda new, so my experience is still young, but the ones I have seen ( that I think are" kinda"are Blood+ and Trinity Blood, with Trinity Blood being my favorite. |

| So hard to pick just one but I'd have to go with Elfen Lied. Though Death Note, Boogiepop Phantom, Texhnolyze, Gilgamesh, Afro Samurai and Gantz get an honorable mention. Plus all the ones mentioned but other ppl are bad assid too. |

| Yet another new favourite added...Mononoke. Considering that Mononoke is now considered a dark anime and has been added to the anime relations list in this club. Mononoke managed to enter my top 5 favourites too (along side Monster, Kanon 2006, Furi Kuri and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann). Now I just need to watch Ayakashi Japanese Classic Horror to get more of my Medicine Seller fix. The story arcs are all interesting, the animation and art style is beautiful, the music is brilliant, the little sound effects in the back ground add a great atmosphere to the anime. The characters have strong defining personalties although they only appear for a few episodes they are all easily remembered (like that of Mushishi). |

| Can't really decide the best for me, so will only note five who are best for me: 1. Wolfs Rain (really loved the atmosphere, ending was shocking and char designs were good. Will remember it forever). 2. X (a certain scene still makes me shiver >.> Although manga is darker, this deserves the second place as it was one of the first I ever seen to have this mood) 3. Ayakashi~Japanese Classic Horror and Mononoke (both on the same place, could not really decide which one was better for me. Both were true masterpieces) 4. Berserk (a definitely best dark fantasy anime for me. Still addicted to manga.) 5. Claymore (if not crappy happy ending, it could have been at higher position...meh they should just have used manga story >.>) |

| oh man.. it's hard to decide between Elfen Lied and Death Note :O i like Trinity Blood too ^^ i was watching Hellsing but I didn't like it o.o i forced myself to continue watching but i just don't like it D: |
