One of the worst, if not the worst series this season in terms of content adapted. Everything went downhill after that first arc this season… though not like it was managing well before that as well, but yeah still it was something watchable.

Whose ever decision it was to adapt things at 2x should be penalised by paying 10 times more tax than average… really, not even theme songs were anything to go by this time. I hope they don’t make a third season after this.

I had friends who read the manga telling me that the first season would be the best one and yeah I see it.
The first one was very good while this one was just average.
A shame. 6/10

The final call of duty for Masamune to request the help of the Fighters, which the regular humans finally acknowledge their help to cross to safety, as well as the Ranger Force all banding together to defeat Deathmacia, it's all for this moment for the monsters and humans to stand together against a common enemy. If the White Keeper of Shippou can't do anything, then with Usukubo being around, only adding to the complexity of the problem separating herself from her father, which as it turns out, she was just an adopted child of his that's perfect for the Julimerida vessel within her. In retaliation, all Fighter D had to do was to revive Red Keeper to face Usukubo's father alongside him and let him have the glory of defeating Deathmacia once and for all.

With the efforts of the Dragon Keepers, each one stronger than the last to lure Deathmacia losing its horns and dropping him into the room alongside Fighter D, the only way to defeat him through starvation is quite the plan alright for the father who retains aa side of his human self. And as the dust settles, the norm comes back all the same where the Ranger Force reigns ever more.

Not gonna lie, Season 2 was a huge letdown when compared to Season 1, and it all has to do with the atrocious pacing.

Definitely a bad adaptation, but I enjoyed it for what it was because I saw some of my fave moments. Just read the manga if you feel like the pacing was off or some plot points didn’t make sense. They essentially adapted arguably the best and longest arc of the series into like 4 episodes and it shows. This finale was solid, but it lacks all the emotional impact it’s really supposed to have. I still liked the Angel x D and stuff and the final fight, but man this should’ve been better.

The great irony of this whole arc being that Yakushi couldn’t fully commit to the monster transformation bit, but he want the rest of the world to give up their sanity and bodies 😂 if you don’t want to, why tf would I? Also ironic that monsters and humans joined forces to stop he and his plan. Bro was just walking contradiction and the fact he said he didn’t really care about Angel just led me to not gaf about him. Good riddance.

Final fight with Red’s big attack and everyone getting their lick in was really dope. It is pretty funny to note that even with the fake transformation, Yakushi probably still beats or at least kills a few keepers if Yumeko doesn’t step in with her entirely broken timestop ability.

In a way tho, Yakushi did win because now we have two factions of human-monster teams. D, Angel and his squad and Sakurama, XX etc. So Yakushi did start human-monster cooperation. Plus two potential monster-human ships. Angel is so cute when she blushes btw.

Idk if we get a season 3, but if we do, I’d like for them to go back to the same quality we got in the first cour and slow tf down. Otherwise, we got the manga still going strong.

Overall, season 2 was just nice, although there are still some parts that haven't been explained yet. But that's how they make the plot more interesting. In the end, we'll see which side is truly heading towards justice, whether it's Hibiki's group or the current Dragon Keepers.

Whatever happens, as a watcher, I'll be supporting Sentoin D. His only weakness is the Divine Artifacts, but overall his efforts usually pay off. He just uses his wits and not cheat items like the Dragon Keepers' Divine Artifacts

I think I get what this anime's trying to say, but it has such a roundabout way of conveying the message.
If it has season 3 I'll still watch it, but if it doesn't then it's also ok for me as well.

2:00 The Fighters are helping the humans and Ranger Forces 😯🫢

8:20 Poor Usukubo 🫢😢 that’s crazy revelation, but that explains everything perfectly now 🤣

10:30 The way how D slithered off the cop car 🤣

12:30 Usukubo oppai 👌🏻

14:16 USUKUBO TOTALLY HAS FALLEN FOR D NOW HOLY 🤣🙌🏻 YES

D got two beautiful girls supporting him 🤣🙌🏻 harem time

17:35 when the hell did they plan this with the Keepers?

19:00 the way how D instantly went into the side lying relaxation pose 🤣

My 11th Spring 2025 anime finished! That ending was CRAZY man 🤯 Yakushi finally kicked the can after a year and Usukubo finally reunited with D again. Season 3?! 👀 I so hope so 🙏🏻 this season was awesome to be honest. Almost as good as the first one. Lots of crazy moments and revelations. Definitely wasn’t expecting the humans and monsters to work together in the end, but it all worked out. Big brain plan to trap Yakushi. But now the real Sakurama seems to have something up his sleeve now 👀 I love the romance that just sprouted out of nowhere here at the end between Usukubo and D tho 🤣 maybe throw Hisui in there too. Glad Usukubo snapped out of her parents’ trance and woke up. One of my favorites this season! 🙌🏻

The dedication to becoming such a lore-accurate Power Rangers superboss that you even adopt his weaknesses may be tactically questionable, but I can't help but respect the faithfulness.

Angel's declaration of D as her "fateful one" was really cute, not to mention Hisui clearly hiding how bothered she is about it.

As an anime-only, it was still pretty obvious big chunks were cut but I still enjoyed this season for what it was (...though the lack of a puppet preview plushie of Hisui is unacceptable). A third not-as-rushed season where D confronts Red would be cool.

Oh good. Ranmaru is still alive. Good for him.

Angel isn't Yakushi's daughter after all. She's a random girl found by Yakushi who his monster lover possessed. That explains the white eye. Ngl, I wish they didn't depict the monster with a human avatar or whatever that was. I don't understand why they did it. To make it look less weird? But that's like the entire point. No normal dude would ever want to bang a monster. Idk I think Yakushi just being with a monster that doesn't look human makes way more sense even if it's an abomination. It's weird how Angel is continuing the family tradition with Fighter D tho... Well, I don't hate it.

Now my biggest problem with this episode. Um, where's the giant robot battle? You know, the one that's in the OP? I thought it was going to happen at the end of Season 2 since Season 1 didn't have it. That's like the whole thing about Power Rangers/Super Sentai. Did the OP just lie about it? What the fuck? This is so shitty.

That aside, this episode was pretty good... Kinda. The animation was slightly better. But the pacing was still very fast. I feel like a lot of things from previous episodes were just glossed over. The first half of this season was so good. But they completely fucked up the second half. WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT CRAMMING SO MUCH STUFF IN HALF A SEASON WAS A GOOD IDEA?! I hope they never touch any anime ever again. If they make a third season and it's as horrible as this, I don't want it. It's such a shame. This could've been such a great series.

yea the anime botched the whole flashback, among other things. the body was supposed to be a human body Yulimerida took over so they could move to the city without it being suspicious (only after that girl among others tried to kill her).

@TheColdMayor Oh, I see. That makes a lot more sense. The pacing of this anime is so fucking fast it doesn't give you enough time to think about what you just saw. Tho in this case, I don't think the anime even depicted what actually happened properly.

an overcooked, rushed and bothced final arc for the season. I did enjoy the school samsara arc, but I gotta say I'm not gonna wath season 3 if it comes. Reading from the comments I understand that the adaptation screwed up, but honestly I have problems with certain plotpoints as well. Like revealing that clearly dead characters aren't dead, and becoming lowkey cliche. Animation also was kinda budget as well so I'm giving it a mid score of 5/10

Damn what an ending. It had to the whole pacing is an absolute mess throughout the arc but final episode delivered well enough.
Props to Urabe and those fighters even more they really are just average joe surviving and even helping humans just enforces their leader D point even more. All the old cadets got some time shine, that was nice.

The battle mah whatever. The main meat was easily Uskubo and Yakushi lore.
So Uskubo isn't his child just a vessel for his monster waifu. She would have died first if not that monster died first. I don't used to hate Yakushi but just using Uskubo for his waifus shadow is horrible behaviour.
Glad Uskubo choose herself with the help of her beloved Fighter D🥰 My girl didn't let me down..
Just like her "father" she got her fated monster partner.
Idc what anyone says I fully support Uskubo x D

This ship is biggest W of this season. If you disagree you are wrong.

So the tactics to beat Deathmacia rile up Red keeper lol. Not really fan how its another "protagonist" shouting to win at the end (imouto tho..)but Suzukiri saved his ass. Every ranger took a pot shot until D finshes him off by trapping him. Great job team, so when they are fighting each other again?
I wanted to see Chidori, Hisui, D and Uskubo fight together like first arc and got little of it atleast.
Yakushi created a unbeatable monster of his ass and still left a glaring weakness, great commitment what a fan. Now enjoy your starvation while chatting with your idol. Good enough antagonist with goated va.

Looks like Red took all the credit and most of the hardwork is undone as people maybe more pro rangers now. Hopefully fighters contribution isn't forgotten.
Yakushi atleast was successful in increasing human monster cooperation even more. Now we got another ship in Sakurama & XX lol.
Suzukiri also got an army now and after a year D is back with modification, will be interesting for sure.

Whats weird is that they used both OPs and EDs in a single episode lol. Also that ending, yeah S3 is HIGHLY unlikely. Maybe have to checkout the manga.

Yes adaptation isn't the best, things are not coherent, unclear rushed and sometimes was confusing but didn't take away my enjoyment at all. I love this series and still didn't enjoyed it fully. First arc was obviously better but second one was still fine. Chidori is fine new addition ez favourite dragon keeper. Hisui and Uskubo waifu duo carryjob😭😭💚
Suzukiri is atleast defendble now and yes D is D.
8/10

It’s over. Man, they really messed things up in season 2 with those absurd changes and rushed pacing that honestly took a lot of the impact out of the story. They cut out important stuff, including key flashbacks.

Season 1 already did some of that, but the rushing was mild and still manageable. But starting from the arc with that organization against the Rangers, they completely screwed it up. The final episode was okay, but the manga blows this out of the water, like, 10 to 0.

I’d give it a 6/10, and if I’m not mistaken, with Deathmecia’s final appearance, the anime adapted up to around chapter 124 of the manga.

I liked this season, but they rushed a lot of stuff, why is that guy among monsters at the beginning? Who is red? Is it another actor and the real one is the one who tried to destroy the clones? It's like they didn't explained all those important parts, they clearly wanted to fit the entire arc in the second season.

Too bad all of Chidori's (and Hisui's one coolest) cool moments and all the heavy lifting he did in this fight got omitted (he sure doesn't look it but he's actually quite tough and can fight, possibly as a result of the special surgery with 50% mortality rate you gotta undergo if you wanna wield the real artifacts without taking debilitating damage every time?). Still entertaining even if the pacing is something out of the realm of sanity and so much got cut out... but cool moments delivered and what's more, the anime got me to take up the manga, so 7/10.

Like seriously, I have no idea what super villains are still alive and who has what artifact 🤔. Shame really, the previous school repeating arc was fun to watch (carried by Hisui).

Is Usukubo really trying to forcefully slide into the best girl competition this late in the show? She doesn’t stand a chance against Suzukiri or Hisui 🤦.

Glad we got the hear that absolute banger S1 OP again.

S2 is a Botched Adaptation there's no arguing here
It's tries to adapt the monster protection society which in the manga is 70-125 roughly into only 6 Episodes that kinda pacing is very abhorrent and results in a giant rushed mess of a story arc that should've had It's own season
The Animation also got worse compared to S1
A lot of PNG slide Animation and a lot of the Action just doesn't look good and doesn't have the sake aura as the manga in parts
A lot of Cut content

Comign from the first season I was hoping this one would give me more context regarding some of the questions that arose by the end. What exactly was behind D's motivation? What was about to happen with the boss monsters? These and so more somewhat got an answer. The problem though came with how much got adapted and what we got as a result.

After finishing the last episode from this season I can safely say I understand why so many people gave the manga praise. There are many unexpected twists, mixed combinations, revelations that make you question who's side sould you cheer for, a grand fight involving everyone and even some bit of romance alongside comedy. However that's the thing, it's too much to adapt in just 12 episodes. The number of events that happened should have made for at least 24 episodes if not more in case there was more material skipped to be adapted (I'm not sure since I'm not a manga reader). With this result I can only presume they had to just adapt up to a certain point, had production constraints or maybe someone forced this to happen by will. And it's such a shame since under proper pacing this could have been great.

But alas here we are. I'm not even going to go through everything that happened in the season sicne it's a lot as it is the number of plotlines going on at the moment. What I can say for sure is that I don't think this will get a sequel so I'll go with the manga instead sometime in the future. What a disappointment for anime fans.

This season was all right, between the Groundhog Day-style first arc, and this 2nd arc that I could feel was rushed even as an anime-only who binged it, season 1 was definitely the more enjoyable season. I'll still welcome a 3rd season if we get one though.

An interesting take on super sentai genre. Just realized the author is the Quintuplets' author, a big genre shift from his previous work lol.

Just binge watched from season 1. Story is pretty much same quality like season 1 so I don't understand people who said season 2 is worse.

At last D got his own admirer, I hope this won't become the start of harem story lol.

Did that confinement room ever got explained? Why that room is so strong? And how Red survived after D stabbed him? Does he have clones like Yumeko?

I'm also curious about the small mascot dragon which basically do nothing in the show.

Overall pretty good.

I definitely have my complaints about this season but man this episode was fucking awesome haha.

Seeing Angel blushing and her eyes sparkling at seeing D as her fated one was great. With Suzukiri almost gone this season, I loved having more of Angel. And my god, just when I thought Angel couldn't get any more beautiful, we get long haired Angel <3.

Speaking of Suzukiri, those are a lot of clones of her... Where do I sign up to be part of her religion? xD

That moment when Red remembered having a younger sister... I wonder what's behind Red and her invincibility.

Hisui was such a great addition this season. I definitely liked her more than I expected to.

That montage with the images of the two seasons and the first OP as background music :'( . It really makes you feel like this is THE END.

Anyway, despite its obvious flaws, I still had fun with this season. It's just that, with how much I was surprised by and liked the first one, this one leaves me with a bittersweet feeling, not because it was bad, but because of how much better it could have been. It was going so good up to the Magatia arc...

I am anime only, so I don't now how bad this adaption has been. But I do think that it peaked with the school arc and then after that it felt like it was being rushed to end the Desumeshia arc and so the deaths and revelations that happened during that arc were not given the proper weight they deserved.
Subsequently my enjoyment of the series has soured somewhat. The animation was pretty average too. I also didn't think the OP and ED were anywhere near as good as the first season either.
7/10 the wasted potential makes me sad.

Pretty messy finale for a messy season, story was hard to follow, even without reading the manga you can feel that pace is off, that's it's missing relevant content and that's it's just a pretty bad mixed bag of scenes, i definitely liked some parts of this s2 like what happened after the first big arc but this was overall not a very entertaining watch, even if there's a s3 i'm done

So yeah 4/10, will only remember the GREAT ending.
