As far as I know, it was the anime which popularized Chuunibyou in anime. Just like so many other anime trends started by kyoto animation. Oh yeah, it definitely helped popularize its use in the medium, and the anime is often referenced in other works. I was just pointing out that it did not invent the concept of Chuunibyou though. Because the other comment made it sound like it did. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Reminds me that I seriously need to rewatch Chuunibyou. My answer for now would be "Absolutely!". It's a terrifically cute anime that evoked a wide array of emotions. We haven't had any other series quite like this. For those who are still looking for a dramatic romance with a chuuni, check out Aura. |
