Well I didn't think too much but when he was actually killing titans he was a great character for me but you don't have to agree.

Hmmm, it's hard to say what I thought at that time when season 1 came out but I guess that I considered him as badass :)

Honestly, I didn't care too much about him when I first saw him. When he started killing Titans, I kind of liked him. And then after fight with Annie, he became my best character of the first season (before him was Mikasa).

He’s my favorite. I don’t think he’s a “bad boy” persay. He just comes off as rude and cold upon first impression, but there are many subtle things he does through his actions that prove otherwise.

I didnt have any opinions I just saw him as an asshole at the time (which isnt something I consider a bad trait for a fictional character assholes can be good characters if they have depth or are funny)

A grumpy big eye bugged-man with a great haircut. I really didn't like him before I watch aot since I never heard of his name on the live action which was my first introduction to aot. But as soon as I saw him moving and glaring out of all and insulting almost every ugly creature he sees(titans) I eventually became a certified simp for him lol

My first impression was “woah, this guy's pretty edgy lol"

His first appearance was him saying “Tch, shut up” with an annoyed look, in response to the crowd getting hyped up and excited to see him. That was when I realized “yup, this guy is definitely gonna be my favorite character in the series." And he still is my favorite from AOT.
