| Just to get it started I will talk about my all time favorite slice of life anime! Some of them get really boring but for some reason I really enjoyed Yuri Yuru anyone else?!?! I found it different from the usual SOL but I don't know why... :3 |

| My favorite slice of life anime? That's going to tough since I love the genre to death. My top 3 would have to be Tamayura, GochiUsa, and Yuru Yuri. Yuru Yuri was my second anime ever and I absolutely love everything about it. The minor yuri aspects of it is funny and all of the characters are so cute I get all squiggly wiggly inside. Needless to say, I really hope they continue on with the series, season 3 was amazing. Favorite character is none other than pudding-chan Ayano. I wish we got to see more of Rise, she is soooooooooo adorable it should be a crime. Tamayura I only began watching very recently and it has become my favorite anime. It has a subtle story to it that drives the characters but it also handles the slice of life component very well. The backstory is so touching and the OST and OP/ED have such a powerful impact to the show. I usually skip OP/ED but in this case the OP/ED actually have some meaning to them, plus they're really calming and heartfelt songs too so that's a plus. Tamayura is literally perfect in every single way for me and I am so glad that I stumbled upon it, it's not a well known show. One thing that makes Tamayura shine the most for me is how down to earth it is. GochiUsa is just incredibly adorable and amusing. That's another show that I want more seasons of. The show is so lively and cutesy it makes it hard to resist. I have a soft spot for cute girls doing cute things. I think I have a thing for girls who look like this: |

| Merged threads from @HecticLeo's post: Summer is just around the corner and is the perfect time for trips to the beach, fireworks at night and tests of courage! I'm sure we're all excited for summer for various reasons but I want to hear what you're specifically excited for! By that I mean what upcoming anime has your socks rocking? Also anything you're planning to do over summer I guess, but the main topic is anime! Summer Seasonals My beloved High School Fleet will be making it's last appearance in two weeks time but all hope is not lost. Upcomings such as the highly anticipated Orange and Food Wars S2 are what I'm waiting for. Fate/Illya S4 is also high on my list. Other than that I feel like summer is going to be comparatively weaker than spring.  @BigJk Replies: Took a quick look at the Summer animes and didn't find anything that really caught my eyes... 91Days and Orange sounds interesting. Fate/Illya S4 will be on my list to watch when I finished S2 and S3... but they are not on high priority. So if I don't watch a lot of the summer season then I will have time to finish some other animes that are on my "to watch"-list :3 @silverwhirlwind Replies: I can't wait for the 3rd season of Love Live! It will have new characters but I like the 1st and 2nd so much I hope this season will be just as good!!! They are also making an Ozmafia!! I really liked the manga though I don't think they will ever finish it T.T so I hop that this show will finish what they never translated in the manga. OVA they are airing the last episode of Kamisama Hajimemashita: Kako-hen I have been waiting for almost a year to finish thos OVA up an it looks like my time has finally come :3 Also looking forward to Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito looks really good, almost like a beauty and the beast thing I hop the actual OVAs are as good as the trailer I saw!!! @HecticLeo Replies: I'm pretty hyped for more Love Live as well, I'm kinda sad that Eri's younger sister isn't part of this one. Her role in the original series kind of hinted that she would get some screen time with her own idol group. D: How good is the romance in Kamisama Hajimemashita? I'm almost done watching Clannad so I'm on the lookout for more romances. @silverwhirlwind Replies: @HecticLeo I really enjoyed Kamisama Hajimemashita the second season I thought was even better than the 1st one!!! I would highly recommend it if you like this genre I do believe it would be one of my favorite shoujo anime's! |

| Anyone watched/know Kantai Collection? Based off a game that is region locked in Japan but last night found a North American version and now I'm hooked. It's a phone game. The show isn't that great but the characters man, the characters. Oh, yeah I'm not huge fan of dark stuff. No cute girls just makes me kind of bored. :( |

| @HecticLeo Where can I get the American Version? XD For me it's the opposite... If there are too much cute girls and too much comedy all the time it gets boring for me. I get more hooked if the Anime is dark and there is serious stuff to think about. But of course that not always the case and you will find a lot of other stuff on my Animelist that I also liked even though it's not dark or serious, but I haven't yet found the real entrance to the "Cute Girl Heaven" XD |

| @silverwhirlwind @BigJk It's called "Kantai Girls" and can be found on iPhone or Android app store. I think you can also play it on computer through internet browser too, might be wrong on that one. It's one of those minimal effort games that the Japanese love so much. Sigh. That's what I get for using a link off of yande.re, very good site for anime related artwork, it does have a fair share of lewd stuff but you can filter them out from your searches. The link does have the proper tag to it but it's freaking long so I think it' just broke. Anyways |

| @HecticLeo Will check it out :3 Another Japanese Mobile Game I absolutely loved and played so much back then was "Puzzles And Dragons". The cool thing is they make collabs with Animes to get all kinds of Anime Characters into the game :D @silverwhirlwind I would give you an answer if I had seen the second season... xD Still on my Watchlist v.v Oh and to everyone... Many people on MAL make science out of their rating system. Don't except that from me. Most of my ratings are not based on very hard thinking but rather on my feeling at the end of the Anime, so most of my ratings are rather good. What also comes into play is that if an anime doesn't hook me after a few episodes I will mostly drop it and won't force myself to watch it just to give it a bad rating or something xD |

| @BigJk I'm about the same I have a lot of high ranking anime and no low ranked ones (I think I have 1 or 2 4s) The ending of an anime also leaves a very big impression on me too I guess thats why I have so many high rankings of SOL anime because there is really no bad ending to them XD |

| @BigJk I usually just use it to remember if I like the anime or not anything 8 or up i did anything 6 or 7 was pretty good and down it goes. In case I wanted to go back and watch some again |

| @BigJk @silverwhirlwind I'm not too critical. I give out a 6/7 if I found it to be an average show. 8+ is for anime that I liked a lot. 4/5 is for anime that I did not like or anime shorts. 1-4 I will never use because if I find a show to be that bad it's already dropped and I don't think should rate something unless I finish it first since me dropping it is most likely due to personal preference rather than the show being critically bad. Also, just because it says 7 doesn't mean it's not one of my favorites! Gakusen Toshi Asterisk is a favorite anime of mine but I gave it a 7 because the anime, from a critic's standpoint, does have issues preventing it from achieving an 8+. |

| @silverwhirlwind I watched Love Live first loved it, then watched Idolmaster, loved it. Idolmaster is my favorite idol anime but Love Live still holds a high place in my heart. I remember waiting anxiously for a couple months for the Love Live movie and being so excited when it came out. I streamed it onto our living room TV and just sat there in in pure bliss for the whole duration. Are you kidding me is that even a question? I've been waiting for this since it was announced!!!  I AM SO SAD THAT ELI'S LITTLE SISTER ISN'T A PART OF THIS, not that I know of. I really thought she would make an appearance, I'd love to see her on the screen more. |

| I finally did it xD I bought me a new SSD and switched to Windows 10... I also got the newest version of Photoshop. Maybe with everything back to a clean install and the new Photoshop I finally get the motivation to really start doing some graphic stuff again *-* |

| Nice! I find I like a disk drive better because they're cheaper for more storage space XD But SSD are so cool the computers are super thin! So you got photoshop CC then? I hear the filters are better on that version :3 |

| @silverwhirlwind The SSD is only there for the System files and Programms so it boots faster. I have all other stuff and bigger data on my other HDD's I have in my PC or on my NAS where I also store all my Animes (got 8 TB of space there XD). And yes. I got the newest Photoshop CC version, but I still need to play around a bit more before I can tell if It's better or if I like it more than my old :3 Just had the time to set up my work space but not really done something with it yet ^^ |

| Thanks :3 and you are right. The reason I make my designs is not to win some contest or for others, it's just to have some fun while creating it and be happy with it in the end ^-^ Applying for the contest was also just for fun and kinda random, didn't excepted that much... There are still to much other good designers I can't match and maybe I like the wrong kind of style to really compete with them, but I will stick to it :D |

| @BigJk Fixed! I didn't know it had to be exact. I fixed the other two names I put down too. To be honest, I just chose the other two randomly, didn't even look at their submission. =X I feel like this thread should be called HecticLeo and chill. Also, talk about anything! At work a few days ago a little girl that I teach was showing me a picture that she colored. As I was folding her picture up, she kissed the back of my hand and ran away to her mom who was sitting a few feet away. I heard her tell her mom "I kissed him" and her mom laughed. A moment later, I'm sitting there on my phone and the little girl calls my name. I turn to face her, ask her what she wants, and she yells out "I love you". The mom and a couple others reacted with the cliche "awww" and I just smiled. Didn't know how to react. I didn't want to say anything that would sound too risky/creepy. |
