After a second thought, decided to disable the hover feature on thread titles by default. It's kind of annoying because the hover works on blank space anywhere on the same line as the title, and really, you don't get to see such long thread titles that much (if ever.)

I just commented out the :hover code so it still can be enabled back if you want to. :P

oh, the primary reason I (re)styled the forum action menus on top was because in some threads they originally had "Anime/Manga information" or "Back to Club" links that had to be pushed left, and with that I also had to put the vertical divider ( | ) on the left of the forum action... but since the line appeared in all cases even when the "Back to club" links were not shown, it was kinda ugly. So I decided to make a border for the whole control line, which would remove the need for the divider..

which is why all the other links on header stay as they are now :)

But yea, after I had made that I did think it wouldn't look too bad even if I had applied the style to all links... but that's for sometime else :P

probably already mentioned before, but some people have sliced sig imgs... and your theme when the mouse hovers over a slice, colours that one slice in white, and only that one slice, not the rest of the image...

if you haven't noticed it by know, that its. (posting here is faster then checking)

Yea, I noticed that too a few days ago.
However, due to firebug being still not compatible with Firefox 4.0b2... gonna have to wait. :P
I really shouldn't have upgraded right away to beta 2.. as seems like nothing has changed much (with opentype font bolding problem still unfixed-_-;;) and the plugins are all not working now. *sigh*

dumb question, but I got greesemonkey working from a beta release of firefox, a recent beta of firefox... like yesterday...
Today that same beta doesn't work...

I was just wondering if you had a link to a site that gets updated with beta releases of stylish... I think I can't live without RE:mal now... but I can for now, live without greesemonkey...

I noticed that the site I got the beta release of greesemonkey from, was being updated with new beta's of greesemokey as well, that is why I'm even writing this about stylish.

I am very sorry to divide the style again, I know what a hassle it will be to have four stylesheets enabled on a single website.. but really, there's no other way I can think of. (STUPID LETTER LIMIT!! T_T) Hope you guys will understand. >_<

For all experiencing problems: Try deleting the style entirely and reinstall the style again.

This is how it should look without and with the sidebar addon (and base style enabled), in respective order:

No, as I said before, the style's designed for Firefox in mind, and is not going to work the way it's meant to be in other browsers.

I think I already expounded on this a while ago... oh yes I did.

kimatg said:
The stylesheet does NOT work in Google Chrome. Apart from the fact that the stylesheet uses Gecko-only css3 properties (such as -moz-border-radius and -moz-box-shadow), the major problem with Google Chrome when applying userstyles to it is that the browser itself rewrites the html code that has inline (hardcoded) styles.

Simple example: when the site has <div style="padding: 0px; margin: 2px;">
and I hook the code with div[style="padding: 0px; margin: 2px;"]
It works fine because the style attribute is exactly the same.
But when Google Chrome loads the page, I noticed, it basically "cleans up" the code by itself: so the browser actually displays: <div style="padding: 0; margin: 2px;"> (px is removed after 0)
and so, the stylesheet I wrote does not get applied, hence the weird results on layout.

So short answer: I cannot help you. Sorry. :P

Ah, good for you that it works alright now.
As for Mac, I was just curious because you had a non-cleartype font smoothing in the screenshots.
Just for a reminder: if you're using Firefox on Mac you don't need to enable the cleartype addon, cause Macs have the special font-smoothing and have Helvetica Neue included in the OS by default. :)

2010.08.28 :: Updated to work properly Firefox 4 beta 4. Other minor fixes since last update

So I just updated FF4b1 to beta 4, and noticed that firefox started truncating "px" or "pt" that follow 0 since '0px' and '0pt' really dont need any measurement. This is similar to how Google Chrome deals with such code, so it may be good news to people who are using re[MAL] in Chrome (even when I said it's not officially supported :P). But strange thing is that it doesn't change all of such cases... some of them like "border: 0px 0px 1px 1px" stay the way they are instead of being converted into "border: 0 0 1px 1px". Also seems like Firefox automatically converts hardcoded rgb(x,x,x) values into hex.

Anyways, so I made adjustments to the style so that it will work in both old and new Firefox. For now everything looks alright the way it should be in my FF4b4, but if you encounter any problems please do let me know.

To avoid any trouble, I would advise you to not update the style this time unless you're using Firefox 4 beta 4 and things look not right. This update does NOT include any new style-wise changes and there is absolutely no need to update if everything is working fine for you now.

And yea, although there shouldn't be any problems even if you do update it since I've made it compatible for both original code and auto-converted code, it would be better to stay with the older version... just to save the trouble if anything goes wrong and have to revert to the old version (which is not archived anywhere, fyi) :P

2010.08.30 :: Added webkit-specific css3 codes to work in Google Chrome.
> DOWNLOAD: MAIN STYLESHEET | SIDEBAR STYLE ADDON | FORUM STYLE ADDON | CLEARTYPE ADDON | FONT PACK

INSTRUCTIONS
To use re[MAL] in Chrome, you need to install the following extension:
Chrome Stylist https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/pabfempgigicdjjlccdgnbmeggkbjdhd

Then, go to userstyles page as usual and click on "Install with Stylist". A popup will appear that the style is installed.
Do the same with all other addon styles--forum, sidebar and cleartype addon if you need it.

Since Stylist does not support automatic updates, you need to update the styles manually.
Whenever an update is available, just go to the same pages again and click on "Install with Stylist" button, and the popup then will say it's been updated.

KNOWN ISSUES
Although now re[MAL] supports Chrome as well (and most likely Safari, if there happens to be any userstyle extension, which at the moment doesn't), the style is primarily coded and designed with Firefox in mind. And so I cannot give you all the support for any minor issues that might occur.

Currently the issues I have noticed are:
- Main panel's three buttons go crazy when hovered
- Forum hierarchy bar drops 1px when clicked
- Any elements with both border-radius and -webkit-box-shadow display incorrectly due to a bug in Chrome (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=29427)

However none of them should seriously affect your re[MAL] experience.
Enjoy!

Working better than ever before on Chrome, thanks a lot.

Had a bit of trouble at first because Chrome Stylist doesn't function properly in the latest dev version of Chrome. However the problem was solved by downgrading to the latest beta version.
