| Konata's mom apparition was so freakin cute |
| the entire kanata sequence hit like a truck. i've been binging this for the past few days, so i didn't expect i'd have enough emotional attachment to these characters to ever get even close to tears, but the entire scene was delivered so damn well that i couldn't help myself. this anime rules |
| Yeah. It is pretty common for people to become bigger fans of something than the people who recommended it to them in the first place. I think it happens more often than people think. My friend who barely watched anime recommended me Dr. STONE before it came out because of its cool synopsis and if it weren't for him I probably would've never watched it. Now I'm fully caught up while he probably didn't even finish the first season lol. It's almost tragic and Konata and her dad joke about him being a lolicon... Come on... Even if you think that, you're still father and daughter... At least don't do it in front of another girl... This anime just randomly became so emotional again like the part with the Hiiragi siblings. But this one's more gut-wrenching. It's doing it on purpose because it's near the end of the series, isn't it? Seeing Kanata's ghost visiting her family and not being able to participate is heartbreaking. But it was also funny to see her reaction to Konata and her dad's bizarre relationship lol. Also, Sumi Shimamoto voiced Kanata?! They couldn't have picked someone better for maximum feels. I guess Konata's dad and mom really loved each other. I wonder how she died... Was it an accident or an illness? She did look like she had a frail body... I hope Konata won't face a similar fate. I hope they didn't delete the picture. Lucky Channel was a disaster as expected lol. |

| The scene where Kanata pays a posthumous visit to Konata and her dad was really nice, especially the part with the overlapping dialogue. I like how the later episodes have been mixing in some heartwarming moments in addition to the typical comedy. |
