@SoulReaper85 Even when kingdom anime is limited in animation what it has very good is very good direction which is far more important than sakuga quality alone (even though it's always welcome obviously) because if the direction is poor/mediocore then even these high quality scenes may not be delivered but when direction is fully utilizied such as use of lighting/colors/color palette etc., which not only perfectly reflects the written story through visuals perfectly and very accurately but also making every scene movie quality/breathtaking by default even when limited in animation and then when there are high quality scenes or high quality anime this complements even further. Look at berserk 1997 is the perfect example of it.

Edit: also these shonen/shojo/seinen/josei are just demographics which determines in what magazine original source material has been published with, this has nothing to do with the story. Look at kaguya sama and bochi the rock both are seinen yet do not cover any mature themes because the reason? the actual genre is slice of life which is the actual genre definition, these series can be everything since once again what matters the most is the actual author and the actual genre/theme they work with and authors within shonen/shojo magazines can also target adult audience since shonen/shojo stands for teenage boys/girls of the age of 13 to 18.
@jacobPOL The Problem with Kingdom's Directing throughout all of the Seasons was that it was either bad or Very Bland and lacking in the sauce and it just feels like I'm watching a Moving Manga but with color and that especially applies to a lot of the gritty action and as a manga reader I will be always left dissatisfied by the Action being Censored and looking very cheaply done and stiff
It's only Carried by Great material to adapt but the Anime doesn't bring out the greatness of the Manga's Visuals

Action being Censored

It's not the staff fault, Japanese broadcasting stations are very agressive when it comes to censoring things look at even bleach tybw, even though it's largely uncensored thanks to the airing in full night time slot but even there has been some things censored.

I think direction could have been better as well to capture the anti war themes and messagas of Yasuhise Hara manga and the harshness reality of it but overall manga is very hard medium to transle in to animation but that's whyI think, I know it's a hot take but that's why I think some manga should not and cannot be adapted in to animation medium but can be perfectly translated as live action instead and especially these grounded in realism manga or photorealistic manga are perfect recipe of the success.

Kingdom S6 is going to be another Mid Adaptation since it's the same team at Studio Signpost which is a shame for their highest selling Seinen series, It's carried by the Seiyuus performance and strong art direction, the Animation is worth nothing to note with the Action scenes
It's going to be censored as always and the Directing will look bland as all hell
@SoulReaper85 shut up and watch or don't who cares. It's still peak

@Nik03178 As an Adaptation I will have my critiques
Either read or just ignore the comments I make
Peak Manga doesn't equal Peak Adaptation

@Ognjenus Doubt it they only now just started added blood compared to barely any when characters are getting stabbed compared to the manga being more gorey
@SoulReaper85 I mean it is literally shown in the trailer like some random soldier getting pierced thru his neck and at the end of S5 they showed the rainbow with no problem. I dont know if they gonna put dismemberment and other stuff in this Season but gore did get a little leveled up compared to the previous season.

@jacobPOL "Manga is hard to translate"
That didn't stop other seinen like Oshi no ko and Vinland Saga to get great adaptations it shouldn't stop Kingdom
