Look at the original post for this thread lol, they ARE airing the undimmed versions this time. Even the random anime distributors on YouTube.

Yet its still not the "uncut" version like Funi streamed.

Plus we dont know if this is just for ep1 or CR truly is streaming undimmed.

We'll just wait and see.

And just because they're airing this season undimmed so far, I still want them to air the dimmed version separately, for people with epilepsy. Can't forget them.

- Its a good thing for majority of the watchers because we can experience the Animation in its original form , For eg the Mahito running scene in jjk s2 ( Mahito vs mechamaru ep ) was a complete mess during its tv release because of the ghosting bs , Just compare that scene with its bd version , You will know why having no Ghosting/dimming is a good thing .

@Nouzen_Chainsaw lot of episodes in jjk were dimmed and we couldn't see the full vision,the blue ray version was so much better with reanimated scenes and undimmed

Plus why is OP praising this and why do CR sell their BDs w/o this?

I forgot to mention, that this is specifically for Japanese TV because of that Pokémon incident from back in the day. It has absolute nothing to do with Crunchyroll.
On streaming platforms and BDs it's most likely gonna be without it.

I have said i liked how Funi streamed both uncut and cut versions of series.

You might as well nitpick thousands of anime films and series that also don't have dimming and ghosting. I wonder why only some shows have this mandate. I've seen seasonal action shows that have no dimming, so maybe it's a voluntary thing.
Or just to boost BD sales, who knows

@certifiedbinger I've been wondering about this for a long time, too, because let's be honest, it's very unfair to some series. Most anime don't have this, or sometimes there's a warning before the episode telling you to be careful. I don't know what their criteria is for some series to get this dimming and ghosting and most don't. JJK has had an awful lot of it lately; at times, scenes were even blurry. ;/
