| Was a nice finale. I enjoyed the storytelling and this show quite a bit. The moments of reconnecting with characters from the past arcs are always very sweet. It's a shame the production was so bad tho. Even simple scenes with characters talking could be really elevated if the production didn't struggle so much. |

| This show is everything I wished Frieren would be. Slowly going through the eras, soaking in the changes, with that bittersweet tone all the way through. It's a shame the production turned out the way it did. The story itself is easily 10/10 material. All it needed was a good adaptation. And I swear to god, if they abandon this project after 1 season, I'm going to be the angriest person in the universe. |

| I absolutely loved this story! So much so that I overlooked the production issues. All the characters are interesting and likable, and it's easy to bond with them. I'm rooting for a second season, and for the studio to have the budget and time to execute it with the high quality it deserves. 9/10. |
| First they set up a plot about Jinya wanting to find his sister then 24 episodes later absolutely nothing happens, most of it was just episodic. They even introduced the oni with the chains that left her marks on him and it ended without concluding that as well. |
| So, a feel good ending huh. Even though I know the story still isn't finished yet. I sure want a season 2 but this season ended enough in satisfying way. Reunion as theme of last episode, with Chitose then with Asagao is amazing. I didn't expect that there's more to Asagao's character other than being Kaouru and Jinya's friend. I remember Kaoru noted how Jinya and Asagao had gotten closer and when Asagao talked about nonsense stuff or something among the lines like 100 of years if I can remember well, several episodes prior, so this is what she meant huh? With her encounter of supernatural, I just can't help but compare how seemingly this makes Asagao's relationship with Jinya more special than Kaoru lol. She now knows Jinya better than Kaoru. Overall I still really like how jolly and honest the present Jinya. I really wish he stays like that in the present. I would prefer this over his very serious past counterpart. |
| A grand tale of “ONI” spanning Japan's eras. For Japanese viewers, it evokes nostalgia and brings comfort. Yet the poor animation quality undermines this very essence. I even wish they would remake it as a theatrical film. Still, its content remains undeniably superb. |

| 24 episodes of nothing, the best character (Suzune) hardly ever made an appearance. this show couldve been so much better, it's a shame |
