@KiliianSleipnir Well, that will depend almost entirely on the director of The Eminence of Shadows, because I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that he's making the film almost entirely alone. Lol

I also hope they take the opportunity to give more information about season 2 of Youjo Senki.

@Desmascarado the thing with Nexus (Cid's studio) is... sure they've been around since 2012. but their 'animeography' isn't that 'long'.

i'm counting each season of Shadow so 2 there. i'm not counting Darwin's Game's recap special or Cid's movie nor Wakaba*Girl: Onsen Tsukaritai. W*G:OT was just a disk extra episode. Santa Company was a Kickstarter crowdfunded (partially) anime and Nexus' first project so i have to count it. of course, nigh on everybody has heard of Chivalry of a Failed Knight. Nexus partnered with SILVER LINK for that one. i even bought Sentai Filmworks' Edub/SUB BrD set for it. of Nexus' other projects i've watched: Shadow, Darwin's Game, and Granbelm online (for free). then they have Touring After the Apocalypse starting Oct 4th. which i'm on the fence about since i read the synopsis here on MAL. it may not be my cup of tea. so that makes a total of... 9 projects in 13-ish years? that is INCREDIBLY few projects for an anime studio over a decade old.

after announcing Cid's movie IN S2's final episode... if Nexus drops it entirely? they're gonna lose a metric crap-ton of business 'mojo' in Japan and worldwide. at a minimum they're gonna have to find SOME other studio to help with 'the heavy lifting'. or say SOMETHING to the public on why/how that project has been... 'put on the back burner' for so long.

just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

This has literally nothing to do with S2 of Tanya.

I mean, the EiS movie has also been on the backburner for a few years now yet i dont hear anyone complaining about that.

In fact, i havent heard anyone saying anything about it.

You do know thats pretty much the whole point of this series right?

To see all of the Kadokawa isekais on one show.

I mean you shouldve been happy there was only 1 season as that means you werent missing out on much.

I'm annoyed that they seem to be shoving Cautious Hero under the rug like it never existed. It's been nothing but radio silence even though the anime was well received. It should have a second season. The fact that they're not even putting Seiya in this shows they have no intention of making a second season.
