I included every character that has expressed a romantic love for him.

Mostly spoiler-free, but there are hints so don’t look too deeply if you’re not caught up.

I love Ryuu but he will definitely end up with Aiz.

I haven't read the last book and the last season catches up the parts i have read so there is no spoilers here.

The writer loves cooking the stories in background.

Freya's interest was one of those background stories. But THE main story is still waiting, only being teased.

The "Grandfather" hasn't been introduced directly. Parents of Bell is still a mystery, although there are some hints in the books. The deep floors and the dragon are waiting to be conquered.

Level 10 is the maximum. Yet, even Ottar is far away from it.

Aiz and Bell are destined lovers but that can't end up together before the last floor.

...for me, Tsubaki is best girl/woman from Danmachi.

The list here, I go with Ryu slightly over Ais. Bell and Ryu went through a lot together last season.

Especially after last season, everything they went through together, and she is incredibly cute and lovey at the end.

Sad she ran away and didn’t tell him her feelings for him.

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Tsubaki is an interesting favorite! Good taste.

She’s not on the list for the same reason as Aisha (flirty but no real romantic connection)

I’m desperately hoping Ryuu pulls ahead somehow. Ais is too plain.

Like Hestia and Hermes makes more sense (imo)

Ais is always shown as someone he admires, but so far, not as someone he loves.

I haven't really seen him look at anyone with love. He cares about people, and some like Hestia and Ryuu love him, while Freya is obsessed with him.

I think I'd vote for Ryuu because they are closer to equals, both being mortals, and Ryuu has actually shown interest.

I kinda hate that they seemed destined considering Bell doesn't show much romantic interest and Ais hardly shows any emotion at all. It's like they're destined for the plot but not because the characters want it. (Bell shows embarrassment around nudity and maybe a physical interest, but hardly anything coming to romance for anyone. Ryuu seems closer to romance.)

@Xarhoom ...thanks! Yeah Tsubaki is a cool cat; strong, easy-going, hardworking with her smithing skills too. I like side characters who can shine in their own distinctive style, no matter how limited the screen time/presence they have.

Season 4 already was a game-changer overall, but a nice cherry was seeing Tsubaki in action while leading that small support team in the deep floors of dungeon(Danmachi was always solid 8 series IMO, but S4 got one of the only five 10's I've given)

@1bubb1 Season 4 actually shocked me. Danmachi was just a cool chill show for me then S4 happened and I was jaw-dropped 😱. S5 is starting to get interesting but it started veryyyy slow :/
