Same, it's kinda the same joke every episode, and It was kinda disappointing because after seeing the trailer i got really hyped

I enjoyed it! Especially the opening theme Shikairo Days. Humor kind of fizzled out and wished it would have had more development in terms of plot or character growth. All in all, Likeable characters, great VA'ing, I can appreciate the cultural aspect of deer in Japan. It was just nice to have something I could turn my brain off to. Would probably watch a S2.

Didn't click with me that much. It was ok, but mostly forgettable. They did an excellent marketing job though. Good AD for Nara prefecture as well.

Overall, I'd give it a 7. The brainrot humor is nice and very much the main selling point for this anime so no compliants there. With characters, I feel like there could've been done more especially with the other two from the main cast and the student council. The student council was pretty one note and got tired of them quickly. Lastly, comedic timing is not the greatest and I disliked the misplacement and overusage of the "Shiiikaa~~,SHIIIkaaaa~~,SHI-II-KAAAAA!" audio. These problems are not that big of a deal in the little I've read in the manga since they're shorter. If there would be a season 2, I hope these issues would be fixed. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the anime and would recommend to anyone who wants a good ol' migraine in their brains.

I only watched the first episode but I wanted to say I'm glad I wasn't the only one, I always feel like I miss the mark when it's a comedy show cause I don't really laugh at the genre? Like it makes me feel weird cause everyone scores it based on the amount of times it makes them laugh, and I'm sitting here like "you guys laugh at shows?". So yeah I laugh but I still find stuff like Konosuba funny and ridiculous. So when i watched the first episode I knew I didn't want to continue it lol, and reading the comments I guess I'm glad I didn't. BUT, to be fair, everyone's saying "overhyped" I was a little out of the loop this season with people's opinions on the shows but, I don't think the show was hyped at all right? It was a meme sure, but that's it! The song was everywhere but no one really said "watch this, it's hilarious" so it's kind of unfair to call it overhyped just cause you came to watch it from that one meme you saw on discord. Sad it didn't click with me though, I personally really like absurd humour, I guess I just wasn't into the characters and didn't like the deer's voice that much

I liked this series, but it's no masterpiece. I hate to use the word "overrated" for a series I like but I think it's appropriate here. it's not quite as good as a lot of the hype would suggest, but it's worth a watch anyway if comedy SOL is your thing (it's my thing, so I enjoyed it).

It's fun, nothing ground breaking but a cute comedy anime that relies on randomness. It's hard to take people criticizing it seriously when they complain about the humor in it.
