So the short of it is that pegging is a legitimate aspect of the game of cribbage and is necessary to become good at, or as good as you may become in a game of chance, in order to reach the last hole. Anyway, I'm sure that is exactly what you were inquiring about as far as pegging is concerned. If you wish to become good at it, you must try to predict what cards your opponent has and avoid laying down cards that will help them to pair, make 15, or reach 31 before you.
