MAL didn't allow manipulation of the html element when I tried and no other element covers the entire page. I want to position the quill a little different, but then I have to fix the edge of the top parchment again to allow tiling. Sooo maybe it'll happen within the next month or so. I'm a lazy bastard. @valtizar: Nice list. :) I would just advise you to change the background color to something like #a8dffe until you fix the image. It's currently the same color as the text, which makes the entire right part of the list unreadable. |
| But what about the list text? Written with a quill! And the wax seal is just authenticating the document, which doesn't really have anything to do with how the content is created. ...but really, I'm just throwing some crap on there to decorate it a bit, don't bring logic to my doorstep! ;) About your background suggestion: I would then need to either have the background fixed, which I don't want, or make the background resolution 1920xthousands, which would make it several MB big. None of them viable unfortunately. If by top bar you mean the control strip, then that's also impossible, since it has its own space up there and doesn't extend down the entire page. | Ah yes, that could work. But as you say it's not very practical, since the list-surround div would need to be 1920px wide and I would have to mess with padding for everything inside it. In the meantime, I experimented a bit with dropping the eastern look. Dunno what to think of this either... I should probably just stop this now. >.< |
| @Algirdyz Yes, I realize that now. Sorry, this is my first attempt ever and I'm still learning. To be honest when I first started it never occurred to me that it would look different on different resolutions (I know, silly me). It was only after I had started that I learned that. Perhaps it would help if I changed the text colour to white instead?? I feel as though that may help, though probably not enough to make any significant difference. This is something I will keep in mind for the next one I make. |

| Now since there are no living creatures in the List Help thread, could anyone help please? On the copyright of my list, there is a distance from the "Plan to Watch" that I can't change. If anyone knows how to do that, please tell me. |
| First of all, thanks! I really appreciate it! And I changed the height to the exact height of the copyright's "background". Now it's on the bottom without any padding, which is good. The problems are now that 1 - The f____ copyright text is covering *my* copyright text and 2 - the blank space is still there. I'm so afraid of touching the "copyright" section, lol. |

And also, even tho I can understand it can somehow distract from the list, I personally feel the mal top bar is useful. And if it stays at the top, you see it for like 2 seconds anyway :) Other than that, good job! |

| Made my anime and manga list styles awhile ago, but never bothered to post here for some feedback (until now). So yea, let me know what you guys think! @Aerolite: It's awesome. The colors go well to together and I like the reflection style you gave for the categories. The only "problem" I noticed is that Zack's face in the background is cut off, but it might just be because our screen sizes are different. |

But, the Angeal and Genesis' renders looked boring, and a part of Reno's head was cut off. Made me cry, so I had to settle for the XIII characters (I liked their renders :P). ZeroBreaker : Thanks, and about Zack's face, refer to valesti's post. Your anime/manga list are also awesome! I love the colors, and I agree that it has a very fun feeling to it. x3 My only suggestion is that you give the text and images an outline (like a glow or shadow) so that they look better against the busy background.
