| Kizuna is the only best happened in this season that feels and acts solely like a normal person, the main casts are only kind of fine but their synergy are way off this time around, and Kizuna always has to be explaining things that feels like non-stop but is right to the point. Character development on everyone else is not well done, antagonist just comes and goes with basic story development that feels like fillers with no depth. |
| What a waste of an episode. A huge drop in quality from what everyone was expecting after the amazing first season. If 3rd season is gonna be like this, I'd prefer it to be canceled, so Kinema Citrus can focus on something else. |
| This was a great backstory episode for Kizuna and Yomogi that should have taken place either before or during her time with Naofumi. It also humanizes the main villain a bit more since he felt generic hate for everything. This episode convinces me that there should have been 2 cours to work on character backstories. Since S1 was a success, why rush this season? An excellent finish to the season with a nice tribute. Whoever thought of the idea of Raph- Chan deserves a raise. I hope she's a permanent addition to the cast. |

| With the swimsuit flashback,there might be something rising, but it's not the shield hero. Not with a season like this. It had a couple of moments, but they decided to mess it everytime. It's like they feared it would be actually good and had to quickly insert something that ruins it. I liked that Naofumi is not your typical hero. He can be pretty ruthless even. And i'm suprised they had Kizuna thinking of killing herself, even showing the half-hearted attempt. Even Rhishia had her moments. But yeah, everyone it gained some traction they threw a spanner in the works. They could have done 25 episodes and used them fully, then they could have fleshed out most things. Maybe drop stupid subplots like Kyo "reviving" Kazaki when he's killed offscreen (it was shown, but more like a 2 second flashback) anyways. Or just get rid of Kazaki completely. He served no real purpose. The chase after Raphtalia when acquiring the Katana clashed with how the whole "choosing a new katana hero" was presented by the characters themselves, he and his minions died in a flash and mostly off screen.. and the end fight wouldn't have been different. Kyo drops everyone but Rishia and Naofumi with his gravity, and the rest plays out as is. |
| So this episode is like a special, extra, ova-style or something... Still, it was nice. It was nice to see the girls in swimsuits. Heh. Kizuna is cute. I felt bad about her being trapped in their forever, even trying to hang herself. But thank goodness she didn't go through with it and thank goodness Naofumi and his crew came there and help her get out. OST-san's suggestions about 'mating' making the girls flustered is so funny. Them visiting Ost's resting place and seeing her wave as they leave gave me feels. She is such a nice character. Its cool to see Rapthalia becoming the katana sword hero as it means she's more powerful now. Despite many criticizing it, as an anime viewer, it was a good 2nd season and fun as well. Not as good as 1st season but not bad either. Looking forward for season 3 which hopefully it comes. |

| So i won't lie 3 years for this is disappointing. I guess trying to continue a series after the main theme is tied up in the first season is harder then it looks, still the show had many points i disagreed with. Story to keep it short was lacklustre. I felt many aspects that made S1 unique were forgotten, plot or not it just felt like i was watching another generic isekai anime with crumbs of what made S1 good. There were many plot holes and unanswered questions still left e.g Where did the idea that Glass/L'arc attacking Naofumi's world will fix theirs?Besides from that if i didn't have the knowledge of S1 and just watched this season, i would say it had an ok plot. Characters were ok. New characters like Ost, Kizuna were decent, Rishia not so much, and MCs i feel got some development. Understandably the "revenge" part of the original "revenge isekai" theme has been resolved but that doesn't mean what happened should be forgotten. I feel like how they treated the dragon/wrath shield was sad. They made it a big deal in S1, cus frankly it is, it represents Naofumi's pain he went through for 25 eps, yet i feel like it only appears in S2 for shock value and to be replaced by the tortoise shield (which i feel holds less significance) in a wonky way to show "Naofumi is a changed person from S1" instead of them doing something simple like have him mastering it for starters. Visuals were alright. Animation was mid, some fight scenes were wonky but thats it. All in all 5/10, i get down on my knees and pray to God in the hopes that s3 will be so good it gives me a concussion serious enough to forget the majority of s2. |

| Season 1 was so great but this season was has just been a let down for me. On top of that we get an extra filler episode of fan service. |

| A "feel good" episode and, yes, I had a good laugh. Kyo already called Naofumi out for having a harem and when Kizuna branded him a lolicon I lost it. The Raphtalia fashion show was amusing and THE talk Ost had with the 2 was also funny to watch. Very nice way of ending the episode as well. I did not forsee them visiting Ost's resting place and tying up loose ends. However, I do wonder why this episode exists. The pacing felt very rushed especially in the second half and I do wonder whether using this one episode to flash out Kyo, certain moments like prison break or the final fight could have helped to increase the emotional weight of the show. Anyhow, surely not better than season 1 but the season did a fair bit of world building! 6/10 |

| Hm, I have mixed feelings, this anime clearly had its 'UP' and 'DOWN'. There were times I was uninterested, others the anime felt rushed/random, although there were times I enjoyed when I did not think much. It´s been years already, but I still think MAL should add the 0.5 score to their score system similar to what we have on MDL (mydramalist). Not gonna lie, if it weren´t for Kizuna this would have been a worse experience. This anime for me is neither 6 nor a solid 7/10. 6.5 / 10 is my ideal choice here. |

| i cant believe this was hard to watch on x2 speed too,like what the hell,i enjoyed so much season 1 but this one seemed like another anime,even the characters got clichee asf |
