It's a 14min music video, but with story. It continues the 2nd movie "Wings of Goodbye". The Macross Frontier movies "The false Songstress" and "Wings of Goodbye" are a condensed, revised version of the TV series, just like the old "Macross Do you remember Love" movie. From the trailers, the song itself and being an addition to the 2nd Macross Delta movie, it was obvious it's only a short clip. But the fact it's a continuation after so many years, with a possible hint to another sequel, it was well worth the watch. The visuals and audio were amazing. A must watch for any Frontier fan. I hope we get to see more and a final conclusion of the story, even if it's only another music video, similar to the Macross Flash Back 2012. |

I only watched the tv series and was confused as to why Alto and Sheryl were gone like that lol. |

IIRC Flashback 2012 didn't actually have any dialog, this has quite a bit. DaCraziGuy said: With Macross canon is usually a mix of TV and movie timeline but skewed in favor of the movies. If we get any further continuation its going to be based on the movies. This is just a musical, not much to see. Ranka is hot now tho. I don't think I remember wrong, but a couple of dead characters were alive here, so I think this isn't even canon imo. |

Mikhail was only dead in TV. And this short continues the movie storyline. So they seem to consider movies canon for Frontier. |
