good story pacing, high tier characters and decent story, everything is executed well. it's not an insane show, it just successes at all small things, which makes overall anime very good

I mean for starters it does a lot of its core features really well. The comedy is executed extremely well, the characters feel believable and get good amount of development. The action is built up well and the animation is extremely high quality. This is just its fundamental features, if you compare it to a show like Demon Slayer, it becomes a lot more apparent how much better Mob Psycho is executed. Characters feel believable and actually develop over the course of the episodes (look at Ritsu, Hanezawa, Reigen and Mob’s development throughout the show), comedy is night and day difference from KnY also. Mob Psycho also does this thing where it will introduce sub plots that feel irrelevant but actually come back into relevance at some point, which is just nice to see. Overall, after seeing you can appreciate Demon Slayer and rate the latest season a 9/10, it should be pretty easy for you to see why Mob Psycho is an objectively better show. :]

naybe its not for u. will say the dynamic of Mob being the most powerful character despite being a timid kid wanting to be like everyone else is the main thing that makes me like the show. than u have Reigen who's an anomaly himself. even with out the fights, its the characters that make MP100 so interesting imo.

Reigen and Mob give out one of the most emotional impacts and moral lessons out there, ngl I legit teared up when they shared their backstories in this season (around Episode 5-7), one of the best character writing that just goes smoothly tbh, both of these characters respectively have a different goal and they want to achieve it while working on this business together too to make it more engaging (thus why the action shenanigans are amazing) and also support one another to live a life.

nothing wrong to rate a show just because the animation is good, just look at demon slayer s2. I can understand if someone find the mc to be boring/bland so they don't like it (definitely that people will don't like one punch man either if they don't like mob psycho, because the mc has similarities except mob has more development in 3 season), but other than that I think most people agree that this show has good heart touching moments, side characters, and humor which are executed well.

Can you tell me what’s so good about the overrated CSM? I’ve read 6 volumes so far and will continue reading, and while I do think it’s entertaining, there’s nothing that stands out to me as “masterpiece”. Like I’m not hating, I’m asking you seriously because you gave it a 10 whereas it’s a 7 for me, so I wanted to know what you think is so special about that series.

As for why I think Mob is amazing, a couple reasons are that it has amazing animation and great characters.

there are many reason why it is high rated and is one of my favorites

1. character development of mob and way he is going through his teenage, what he wants to and what he is + lack of confidence and physically weak is incredibly relatable to me

2. it is one most action packed anime out there every action scene jumps out of screen and choreography is one the best I have seen in these medium and probably in all of medium

3. after all I said about mob, he isn't even my favorite character of mob pscho because if this show try to focus on character then the character is going to be incredibly well written just like hunterxhunter

4. there was only 1 episode where actual romance was shown in 1st episode of season 2 but it is still stuck to my mind and so is the comedic parts because even standalone episodes are bangers

5. every single episode of season 2 is at the very least a 9/10

Entertainment is subjective. You might not find it great while others do. Others can explain why they like it but you might simply disagree. Some people just don’t like certain shows, that’s ok.

I liked it because the characters, fights, and animation are astounding. It was a fun show.

The right mindset when watching an anime is hoping that it will break your top 10

To me, the character development is what gets me. The way Mob see’s himself for what he is and knows of his weaknesses and not only knowing them but doing something about them. i.e. joining a fitness club. This hooks me hard to this show and I really loved watching him grow throughout the series.

Yeah I guess, the comedy is subjective so I’m not gonna factor that in but you mentioned character development and yeahh it’s there, but I wouldn’t say it’s anything remarkable. Season 2 definitely has great development with Reigen and Mob but everyone else is kinda the same throughout. Also I wouldn’t take my MAL scores as genuine critiques, I score things with a mix of quality and enjoyment so they can be a bit skewed but I wouldn’t call Mob objectively better than KnY. Kimetsu looks better, has better FX is animated better and has a more interesting story and characters to me than Mob.
But I respect your opinion and understand why you like the show.

After talking about the anime with a lot of friends I realised that a lot of people relate to Mob for multiple reasons, loneliness, peopel laughing at you in school and finding true friends on the way.
I personnaly really loved the show and watched it multiple times and heres what I like about it
- great story
- fantastique character devellopment
- great animation
- lot of comedy
- family friendly
- super emotional

chainsaw man is underrated

just try rereading it with different expectations/pov on the story and you'll get different stuff you didn't notice before

you can read it as a shounen and youll get exactly that

you can read it as a melodrama and it's gonna feel like a fkin melodrama

idk how there are people that don't find chainsaw man to be top tier lol. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone but I just don't see any flaws in it other than the underdevelopment of a small number of characters that are semi-important to the story

I'm really biased cuz csm is my favourite manga and I've read it like 10+ times but trust me man it's good and you'll get different aspects of the story based on how you look at it.

also reading some of fujimoto's other works might help you understand more about how the story is meant to be like because it's all really bizarre stuff
