I myself am no emo. But i work at a school and all the kids call me emo because i have naturally black hair which they think is dyed, and also i have black jacket, shoes and hat that i use everyday. Some of my clothing is somewhat black but i don't go all black everyday. I think it's mostly funny thought more than bothersome, some of my work friends has joined in as well now xd

I also have tattoos and piercings so that might be a cause as well. But i mostly dress fashionably, and i kinda like darker toned clothes xd

So i guess its kinda on me, would be cool if there would still some more emo's around though. Rarely meet them...

The real ones? They offed themselves.

The fake ones? They grew up into "something new" "something more popular/the next big thing"

They "came out" gay/bi, then when that wasn't catchy/edgy enough they "came out" sonething else, aren't there 200+ genders whatever out there?

Some decided to "come out" as "queer" rolling my eyes at them.

Excuse me but in my book thats offensive. This memberberry members that "queer" was a super offensive slur throw around by real bullies/homophobes at boys like me that dared to come out back then (late 80's).

And to see that slur being used by grifters, using some lame excuse, to take it back, from homophobes" is B.S, no fam, ffuk that.

Thank the stars the idiotic emo phase is dead.

posers, who were in it to fit in, filtered out form the emo into normies or some stupid hipster scene nonsense.

More real ones, somewhat diversified their interests and are more than just emo. Most have turned inwards and became more introverted rather than showcasing it externally.
