| Will there be a moment for Light to kill his father? Or will his father protect Light in case Kira's identity is revealed? Ryuk is not on Light or L's side. He won't tell Light the names of those people, if Light wants it then Light will have to trade it for half of his remaining life. On the other hand, Light didn't know how much longer he would live, and Ryuk didn't tell him that either. I think it's quite risky because he might die in the near future.... but it's an understandable decision. |

| What a smartass Light is.. giving away that he's connected to police only so he can find out L's identity and finish him off.. very smartly written.. but here is where he massively falters in his already flawed view of justice.. he is so drunk with having power to control death, that he cannot stand anyone who opposes him. And I thought it was a little too convenient that Light just happens to be the son of a policeman at the helm of affairs.. but one could also argue that he probably has developed a "sense of justice" owing to his parentage.. |
| Oh man… just when you think Light is already close to being caught, he goes and gets a power up, of course he’s sacrificing his lifespan for it but damn, I can’t see him refusing it either, the ED visuals with the red eyes is telling me accepts it. I guess that just goes to show how much he believes in his justice, this really does change the game completely. Also the fact Light is already turning the police against each other with his plan, I’m thinking maybe eventually L will be working by himself at this rate, but I think after a certain point the police won’t be able to help anyway. Oh yeah, it was also revealed that the police chief is Light’s dad, ain’t that nice lol, another thing that helps Light avoid detection, but I wonder if his pops will ever catch onto what he’s doing, that would make for a very interesting situation later down the line. |
