What a strange time to reintroduce the gut loving bitch. Then again, she didn't really have any business surviving the first arc either, so no wonder she feels out of place.

Roswaal has a slightly annoying cadence in his voice where every last word in his lines has a rise and fall in pitch. It's not an inflection I haven't seen before, but this is the first time I've found it irritating.

Excellent episode, some answers and more questions.... good combination
Echidna never touches parents and even less if they are like the ones Subaru has/had.
It doesn't take an expert in reading expressions to know that Emilia's past is Traumatic and answering Garfiel's question, to me you can't move forward to a future when your past or present are not in order/peace.
So Roswaal was right, I don't agree with his way of doing things but I think he didn't say something false.
I would say it's impossible for good acts of faith to completely change or create any kind of trust when people think you are literally the devil himself because of that, drastic measures have more effectiveness...you would have more trust from someone who saved your life, fuck Roswaal
It's extremely rare that you fully trust someone you've known for less than a week, so .... is either crazy or there are things he knows and doesn't want to say or a mix of both haha.
Sometimes it becomes obvious that something bad is about to happen, my goodness...another living trauma is back and what a great way to end the episode.
Time to make an emergency plan

Subaru managed to overcome his first trial. Emilia still can't overcome her first trial. Subaru led the villagers out of the Sanctuary and ran to the mansion. He was struck by Elsa at the mansion.
