Also a small addition, the Awakened Form of Emilia has the BIGGEST mana pool in the ENTIRE series among all characters so this should be taken in consideration ^-^ |

| I love Rem a lot and I think she is best girl. While Subaru x Rem is my OTP even I could see from the start that Subaru x Emilia is meant to be endgame. I find the same problem with both this series and the Devil is a Part-timer Chiho and Rem make better love interests than the main ones. I love both Emi AND Emilia, but I hate the fact writers often make the supporting love interests more interesting and fun to watch and for me its painful cause I know they are just there for stupid love triangle drama and that they never stood a chance to begin with. At least all the series I've read... =/ But I think its lame to hate on a character just cause they get in the way of a ship. Emilia is pretty damn fine in her own right and I hope this season gives her more development cause she was barely in the first season once Rem got involved. |

Both of the characters are great but In all the anime i have seen so far Rem is #1 in my list/heart. And i honestly think that this will not change in the future as well.  However Rem will not be as close to Subaru as Emilia is to Subaru. No matter how much Rem loves Subaru, this is a cruel fact which we have to accept. I personally want them to be together but sadly i am not the writer of the story. |

| Emilia for the fact it makes sense on a storytelling pesperctive. I personally don't really care about who is the best girl objectively (specially because this matter is completely subjective), I care what it makes the story better. And since from the first episode until now, the show have provided enough reasons to make Subaru love Emilia, this is what I'm gonna support. Changing that would only hurt the story |

| I actually really like them both. I don't get why people just choose one and then despise the other on a huge level. I do like Rem a little better, but I also really like Emilia. Maybe my opinion will change and I might like Emilia better during this next season, but from season 1 I did like Rem a bit better. Emilia is still a great character though and I really like her. I think most Rem fans hate Emilia because Subaru chose her over Rem, but it literally wouldn't make any sense for Subaru to be in love with Rem over Emilia. Emilia was the first person Subaru felt safe with after getting transported to another world and discovering this strange and frightening ability he wields. He's been through a lot, and Emilia is the first person in this new world who he felt safe with, so can you really blame him? Emilia is also really nice and cute, so who wouldn't like her? Anyway, I like them both. Both are great characters, I don't hate either of them. |
