Event Game v1: Easter Egg Mafia III | Game Over - Can't Beatshu the Mishu

Section I: General Game Guidelines
1. ALL communications regarding ongoing games is prohibited. Do not mention anything
about this game outside of the game thread and dead chat/spectator chat. It doesn’t
matter if you think it will have no affect on the game, as long as it is ongoing you are
expected to treat this game as though it doesn’t exist. If someone sends you a message
about the game, please screenshot and send it to the hosts asap.

2. Do not ever directly quote private communication with the moderators. You may not
directly quote the wording from your role PM, if you want to claim you must paraphrase
instead. In addition to role PMs, private communication also includes questions to the
mod and private communication with other players such as secret chats. If you’re ever
unsure about what you can and cannot say, run it by the moderators first.

3. Be sportsmanlike and respectful to the other players. Remember that there is a real
person behind the computer screen and be mindful of their feelings. As a general rule,
attacking someone's play, reasoning, or opinions is acceptable; attacking someone with
personal insults is not.

4. Only living players and game moderators may post in the game thread. If you are
dead, do not post whatsoever. There will be a dead chat to talk in instead. If you are not
in the game, do not post whatsoever. There will be a spec that for you to join instead if
you wish.

5. You must play to your win condition. Do not intentionally make any game-throwing
actions.

6. Feel free to edit your posts in order to correct typos / grammar errors / etc, and
feel free to fix any double / triple posting errors. However, don’t abuse this.

7. Do not make use of cryptoclaims, hidden messages, trust tells, and the like.

8. If you ever have a question about the game rules or setup, you are encouraged to
ask the hosts. If you do contact the hosts, please do so through private messages
rather than asking questions in the thread. Similarly, all questions will generally
be answered through private messages.

9. All forum rules of MyAnimeList still apply. See the Site & Forum Guidelines for further
details.

10. All moderator decisions are final.

Section II: Phases
1. Each Day phase will last for 24 hours, except for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, which will last
48 hours.

2. Each Day, players may request a 24-hour extension as well. If at least three
players do this, I’ll consider one, but this is a one-time thing so use it wisely.

3. Each Night phase will last for 24 hours.

4. Living players may post in the game thread at Night, but it is not required.

5. Players with Night actions must submit their actions to the hosts via PM at least 1 hour
before the end of the phase.

Section III: Voting and Lynching
1. This game uses a plurality lynch system. The player with the most votes at the end of the
phase will be lynched. There is no majority voting system in place.

2. Tied votes will result in a no lynch on Day 1 only. From Day 2 onwards, tied votes will
result in a RNG lynch between all players (that’s right, between all players). It will
still be possible to cause a no lynch to happen by voting for no lynch.

3. All votes must be bolded, like this: Vote: Crossbell. If your vote is not bolded, it does
not count.

4. Please try to make your votes on a new line if possible. This is not required,
but it helps me out a lot with visibility, and in exchange you will be rewarded
with frequent and accurate votecounts.

5. In order to remove your vote, unvote in bold like this: Unvote: Crossbell. Unvoting is
not required before placing a new vote.

Section IV: The Mafia
1. The mafia have access to a secret chat where they may discuss with no limitations.
They may talk freely at Night as well as during Day.

2. The mafia has the ability to kill one player every Night. They must designate a
member of the mafia team to perform that kill.

3. A member of the mafia can perform a kill and use an ability in the same Night
if they wish.

Section V: Inactivity
1. Inactivity is frowned upon and makes the game boring. So please be as active as you
can.

2. In order to meet the minimum activity requirements, you must make at least 5 posts
that contribute to the game state during each Day phase. If you do not meet this activity
requirement, you will receive a prod.

3. If you do not meet the activity requirement again, you will be replaced or modkilled at
the moderator’s discretion. Don’t let this happen to you !
