Probably because their body proportions are unrealistically big.

I mean half the anime fans ain't realistically getting laid any time this year, so it makes sense that they fantasize over anime characters instead of fantasizing over real people.

I mean when I was a kid and was sexually frustrated I too like pornography and sexual content. (a bit more realer) but they're both fake af and filled with unrealistic standards.

I guess it makes sense for someone with no hope in finding a sexual partner to resort to beating off to lines and curves on a page.

In all seriousness, i used to think people were all just trolling/joking (and of course many are) when they talked about "2d girls vs 3d girls", but I think theres a certain percentage who truly, unironically have convinced themselves that a drawing on a page/graphics on a screen is somehow comparable to an actual human being.

That is honestly depressing as fuck. Imagine being so fucked up that you convince yourself "Oh yeah- counterfeit money is really WAY better than the ACTUAL money, because the counterfiet is drawn better, and Benjamin Franklyn has these big, cute eyes on the counterfiet notes"...

Or "really, I prefer *drawings* of people with friends, to actually having real freinds, because they're so cute and perfectly drawn..."

Motherfucker it doesnt matter how cute, or sexy, or well-drawn fake shit is BECAUSE ITS FAKE SHIT. Its NOT REAL. Even the best, highest quality fake shit is always, automatically inferior to even the worst real shit because THE REAL SHIT IS ACTUALLY REAL AND THE FAKE SHIT IS FAKE.

Being dumb enough to sincerely convince yourself that you REALLY prefer drawings of girls to the *actual* girls that the pictures are trying to imitate is legitimately one of saddest, most pathetic realities I can imagine.

A lot of things look better in anime than they do in real life, not just the girls. But I guess that's kind of the point of anime, lol. An escape from reality. Characters and stuff are designed to appeal to people.

For anime girls, they're nice in 2D, but they'd be weird if they somehow came into 3D. They have strange, unrealistic designs (unnatural hair colour and style alone would look awkward in a lot of cases).

I feel that it's the same as when you look at a painting of a beautiful woman. Different artists have different styles of creating so the viewers will be attracted to them in different ways. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me that the "The Mona Lisa" was their waifu.

And this is where quarantine brought me after some guild members asked me if it was okay to like anime girls. So what I've gathered so far from this, is a girl *Not woman* is what everyone here is stating they find attractive. Makes sense, anime girls have faces and voices of small children, just slap some breasts on them and they're a child with breasts. But is it healthy to be attracted to features that belong to children, the word cute is also used here, cute is what we use to label babies, kids and so forth. But not a sexually mature adult. So it's concerning none the less. I can't relate, even though I enjoy watching anime (am not nor ever have been sexually attracted to them), I cannot watch the ones that embellish these traits. When I think of something that attracts me, girls with child like attributes do no come to mind. Also children have always been drawn with big eyes as well, since it plays off of how wide eye'd and innocent they are.
