| A decent movie. Looked like a rip-off Edolas arc from FT? LOL! Anyways, It was as expected from the series. The action scenes was alright, though I wanted Merlin, Elisabeth/Erlatte and Diane to participate and defeat their opponents alone. Oh well, expected from shounen. As noted, decent action and OSTs. The animation was alright too, nothing to brag about. All in all, a decent movie. Just what one would expect of Nanatsu (that is imo a rip-off FT, just with more blood). So yeah, a decent 5/9 is a fair rating. Some noteworthy screenshots: |

| I'll have to admit that the story wasn't revolutionary by any means especially with how it mostly centered on Soraad and Elatte looking just like Meliodas and Elizabeth which was a pretty strange writing decision to make. And while it's not really the movie's fault, since I'm currently watching the Sky Island Arc in One Piece, the setting of the movie accidentally ended up becoming all too familiar to me. I personally didn't mind the cons though. Despite the plot's simplicity, I ended up enjoying the film a lot since I really liked its overall execution in both sound and animation with the characters I've watched in awe years ago when I first started watching anime for real being as epic as they can be being the cherry on top. Seeing the Seven Deadly Sins absolutely kick ass in all their overpowered glory and even going beyond that at the end was an euphoric power fantasy I've always wanted to see from all of them back then~ They didn't rely on the power level system I didn't really like at all in here too so that's a big plus. With the overall impression it gave me, I can say that it's similar to the Incredibles 2 since it's a simple-storied action-filled popcorn flick that looked really good and was entertaining to watch. If A1 dropping the series and handing it over to Studio Deen that dropped the ball on it so bad was because of this not getting enough money, it's a big shame since just seeing this proved how much better they could've handled Season 3 (which I'd rather not watch in fear of it tarnishing my memory of the franchise) in terms of art quality and soundtrack. |

| A1 treated this movie as it was a masterpiece. It's an ok movie. They shouldn't have dropped the series because this non canon movie didn't sell well. Hawk mama was the star of the movie. Hopefully we see her true color in the next seasons. |
| It was pretty good I think, the story is not outstanding but it was enjoyable and same for the fight scenes, maybe my opinion is biased because the last nanatsu no taizai anime I've seen is S3 lol |

| The combo attack of all the sins was just OP asf, twas cool asf. And to think dat pig is legendary ROFL The whole holy sword peircing melo was just.. idk wasn't necessary lolz. |

| Overall amazing stability of the plot suspense, like every episode you crave to see the next... that is the charisma of this series. The movie is no exception. It maintained the same aura the entire time. It was a magnificent movie and that is no petty panegyrics I spout, its really nice to see all of them as the 7 Deadly Sins together again. Escanor's power is simply godly to behold you know, it was such spectacular display of raw power. Meliodas and San is well formidable equally, Meliodas seems to keep his powers in check like always. Piggy Mom def reminds of me that one greek myth of Gaia, I'm assuming it's inspired by it. Man, A great movie, nice to watch it as a filler. |

| Wow... The amount of hate this movie (and this series as a whole) gets is totally beyond me. I mean, yeah, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but geez, I just feel like there's way too much negativity here. I don't want to be mean, so I won't call people snobs for the hate, however, it just seems the amount of cynicism is overwhelming... I love this series so far, and this movie imho was fantastic. Also, (and I know I'm gonna get crap for saying this but oh well), the "Seven Deadly Sins KING SPELL: SEVEN DEADLY SINS!" attack basically took the concept from MLP:FiM and made it 2000% cooler 😎 (that is, the way the Mane 6 combined their elements to take down Luna's evil form... This basically combined the Seven Deadly Sins' "elements" or powers in this case, combined with Full Counter in the guise of KING SPELL, to create the Dragon - a very, VERY well done creation, which essentially mirrors "Friendship is Magic" - yeah yeah, give me hate for having used to have been a brony, bleh, whatever man, it doesn't take away from how incredible this attack really was)... |
