The pace has really picked up this second half, and the tension too! I really like this second half.

I'm also so glad Nakai-san didn't just appear and then fade out of the series. After so many years of trying and seeing him so sad when he was first introduced, I can't help but hope his dreams get fulfilled too ^^

And Eiji's growing on me. Not as a character or anything, but his actions are quite hilarious lol

Aside from the potential of that smirk, I feel like KOOGY won't be that big of a deal. I could see him becoming a real threat in a later season, if he actually applies himself. But I can't imagine, with the amount of procrastination he put in, that he can compete seriously with the rest of Team Fukuda at the moment.

Otherwise, it was neat to see at least some of the content of the group's manga.

"...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?"

Lol, nice “tournament arc” we’ve got here! It would be cool to see all the participants (except Koji) gain more success as aspiring mangaka—especially Nakai. He’s been at it for so long; the man deserves it!
