I mean, it's not that spendy if you pay for a subscription. $6.95/mo (USD) for Normal Crunchyroll services. If you have a job or loving parents, that should be affordable.

don't have a job and i don't want my parents to know I watch anime

Why do so many people want to hide their anime from people. Everybody watches it, in my experience I haven't had anybody avoid me because of it.

Kissanime has everything. I never have to worry about finding another site. I switched from legal sites to kissanime because it's more convenient for me.

I download it: BluRay, DVD, WEB. etc. My internet is so slow that seeing it online is not a good idea. I prefer to download it and see it in good quality without internet.

Nobody should be ashamed to hack anime. Like Crunchyroll pay a pittance to the creators for the license.
Try "deluge-torrent-org" (replace with .org) it's much faster client than any other I've tried over the years.

I definitely watch much of it for free. But I don't download, that's actually way too much storage space. Last anime I actually pirated was probably Hellsing.

Honestly I don't torrent at all any more ever since my brother got our IP busted for torrenting a movie. I probably could but eh, I already have so much music.
A well compressed 400p BDrip weight nothing and without loosing too much quality.

I pirate via streaming and just buy Blu-Rays for anime I really like (with a few exceptions like Legend of the Galactic Heroes (1988) seeing as how the full set is... $1676.06 on Amazon). I don't like my current options when it comes to paying for streaming. CR is corrupt and there is just not enough variety with Funi's service.

If it's on Funimation, Crunchroll, Netflix, or Amazon Prime then no but if it's not on any of those sites then obviously yes. I'm not gonna waste money buying a subscription to some site just so I can watch one specific show and then never use the subscription for anything else ever again. Plus there's a ton of shows that were never officially ported over or that you have to buy hard copies of to watch.

Seemingly everybody has a Netflix and Amazon Prime subscription (not for anime but for other stuff) so you should be watching on those if the shows are on there; not helping support the illegal streaming sites. And if you're a working adult then you should suck it up and fork over the cash for the Funimation / Crunchyroll subscription (and they do have free options too if you're that adverse to, you just have to wait, but you really should just fork over the money anyway to support the industry).

That being said in regards to anime movies all these official streaming platforms can go fuck themselves. I'm sick of having to wait more than a year to watch each movie just because these assholes have to try and milk theater screenings and DVD sales as much as they (not to mention the waiting period sometimes gets extended even longer so the dub can take a turn doing that too). Even if I have the service the movie is streamable on you can go fuck yourself I will go out of my way to watch it on the illegal streaming site and even watch it with other people to get more people doing the same.

I use legal sources, such as CR, and buying my own DVD/BD's. But if there is an anime that is not on CR that I really want to watch, I will succumb to pirating websites like kissanime.

I used to about a year ago since I lived somewhere where wifi was bad, it was either download at the library or buy it and I have bought a ton of anime in my lifetime. But now that I moved out on my own in the city I just use crunchy roll since it's cheap

I plead to fifth this is a obvious set up.

Not a single legal streaming site has the rights for all anime shows for a single subscription fee, so morality can take a hike as I use unofficial streaming sites for my enjoyment. I'll save my money for official merch.

I stream it and usually buy the DVD after. Sites like Crunchyroll are shit in my country, (or at least they use to be I haven't looked for years) with stupid licencing issues, "this show isn't available, this show isn't available...".
