| I'm sorry, but this episode did nothing for me. The aspect of the civil war after their actual war was something interesting to explore. Though this is a "monster of the week", or perhaps "sad backstory of the week" type of anime. So we already know the civil war won't be explored. We won't get anything. It's only been like 2 episodes so far (episode 6 and 10). Though the tragic thing about those episodes is that they pretty much just expose the flaws of the show itself. |

| One of the worst episodes of anime I have ever seen. Literal chance to avenge her client and Gilbert, does not do so, instead turning her back on armed soldiers who just tried to kill her, killed her client and Gilbert. Those soldiers were already killing wounded/prisoners, but totally trust worthy to turn your back on. |

I think Violet being 14 completely ruined this series for me. It just makes the entire military aspect of the show so comical when it should be really sad and touching. But they didn't want to give her any sort of special weapon or anything, she just happens to be a random orphan that is superhuman for no reason. Some other posts here mention witchcraft so maybe in the source material there was a justification for her prowess but for whatever reason this adaptation doesn't have that and because its missing this is all very nonsensical.
