I'd prefer if Sheba were an SSR, though I know what the leaks say. Despite making her harder to get, it fits her vibe more imo. I'd feel betrayed if Semi and Sche-chan were SSRs and Sheba wasn't. >.>
who has the tits? the 5 star
who doesn't? the 1 star
I know you're joking, but...
Musashi is most notable for being one of the best - if not THE best - and the most famous swordsman in Japanese history.
Sasaki Kojiro is most notable... for being Musashi Miyamoto's rival.
Even if Musashi didn't have tits, it's obvious which one would have been favoured.
How come i don't see her banner
She's likely a story lock. So nobody can roll her until they complete the chapter which is impossible at the moment given the last half of the chapter is time locked until Saturday (well Sunday Japan time)

But the idea is that, how important they are in history and to the plot of GO aside, Sheba/Sche/Semi are all very similar characters, so having one be of lower rarity seems unfair.
I'm just disappoint.
Not that it matters that much. Being 4* makes her easier to get, I guess. >.>
I haven't started this chapter yet (I'm waiting till I can get my Mashu CE LB'd before then), but oh wow, that's a Lovecraftian monster alright.
Her card set is QAABB. She has a single target Arts NP that grants to enemy: DEF down, ATK down and HP Recovery down.
Yep, that's the NP I hoped Circe would have, even if her High Speed Incantation is pretty damn good. I thought we'd get a 4* Medea, but I guess not.
Her second skill gives a 100% crit damage buff + Invincibility Pierce. With a double Tamamo + 3 2030s, Sheba should deal some pretty awesome damage.
Finally, Tamamo will have a worthy companion. She has Charistma, though. Bleh. Bleh, I say.
Also, apparently the globe thing in Chaldea, the SHIVA System, is named after Queen Sheba, not Shiva. Makes sense, considering who the one who named it had ties with.

I dunno, maybe that's the case in the western cultural hemisphere. In eastern culture, however, the Queen of Sheba, or Bilqis as she's known as, isn't as major as Semi and Sche.
She's known by almost all people, sure, but she just doesn't have the cultural presence these other two have.
To give an example of this, in the Arab world, the name Scheherazade is still used to a degree to name kids with.
The name Semiramis is widely popular as the name of landmark squares in multiple middle eastern capitals and the name of one of ME's most popular hotels.
Both are all around exotic names with an elegant sound to them and respected legacy.
Bilqis is.. well, that one minor character in history, the Quran and the Bible, I guess.
All that said, though, who knows if this difference in popularity is what lead to DW doing this or not.
I don't see how Semiramis shares any character traits with the other two besides being a queen and being from the Middle East, actually. Her personality is ridiculously different than either of them.
Also yes, Semiramis and Schehezarade are more popular even in the West. The story of Semiramis and the Hanging Gardens is taught in literature classes even outside of ME. That's how I learned about her before Fate/, actually. And even some big French authors like Voltaire had a tendency to use Semiramis as inspiration for some of his literary works. Wouldn't say she's all that famous in the West, but definitely more famous than Sheba at least. Despite Solomon's prominence, Sheba's story is only really told in religious circles - mostly in the East.
Speaking of Sheba and Solomon, here's a fun-fact: Some variations of their myth tell that Solomon's son Sheba gave birth to eventually grew to become Nebuchadnezzar II. The rightful creator of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the longest reigning king of Neo Babylonian Empire, King of Chaldea, and the guy who eventually destroyed the Temple of Solomon. Boy would that make one heck of a family if he got added into Fate/ as a playable Servant.
Well, eastern queens, or queens w/o kings in general really, were a rarity and each one of them are known because of that exact reason, despite, usually at least, not really having the grandiose achievements appropriate to their popularity. I can see her being a queen is worthy enough for some to perceive her the same way as Semi.
But yeah, I'm the same as you in knowing about these two before ever knowing about Fate. It's very easy for a kid in the ME to know of Semi and Sche before they know of Bilqis.
And funny you say that about Semi, as she's perceived the same exact way as Cleopatra in the east. A cunning, clever and beautiful queen who ruled with incredible popularity in an age when a female ruler is incredibly "unorthodox", to use the most tame word there.
Stabilizing their roles by poisoning family members and political rivals is also a big shared trait between the two, incidentally enough >_>
Huh, now that I think about it, with Cleopatra's, Semiramis's and Scheherezade's huge popularity in both their own lifetime and in the future as well, the east does seem to have a thing for dominating strong-willed women in power. Hmmm.
AirConditioner said: Despite Solomon's prominence, Sheba's story is only really told in religious circles - mostly in the East.
In general, everything about King Solomon is told in religious contexts in the east, being a prophet and all. While being a historical figure, his story is never really taught in history classes because of how little we know of the period he ruled in, findings-wise.

Yep. Nebuchadnezzar II and Hannibal of Carthage are two of the eastern historical figures I'm looking forward the most to see how Fate does them.
That comes as quite the surprise; personally, I(and my friends in general) had never heard about Semi before Fate and Sche before Magi, but had heard about Sheba lots of times, so I assumed that was the case for most westerners. Maybe it's just a Brit thing - able to tell you in extensive detail how England was Normanised, but who the fuck is Semiramis?
>I don't see how Semiramis shares any character traits with the other two besides being a queen and being from the Middle East, actually.
Well yeah, that's what I meant by similar, lol. >.>
Yep, nothing Lovecraftian going on here. Just a perfectly normal human with his perfectly normal red glowing in the dark eyes that you can find on normal people everywhere.
This was on Twitter for less than a day and had to be taken down immediately, I assume Cage's agency got in touch with the poster and didn't want to damage Cage's future careers due to being associated with Anime (especially with Love Live). The Internet never forgets though.

Lore-wise, it's perfect. Lovecraftian monsters induce madness and evaporation of all reason, so it makes sense that it'd be within their domain of power.
I do agree Lavinia should have been made rollable with this gacha though. Pretty stupid she got Jason'd, i.e. her playability status getting delayed into the future.

They could've just not have a gacha at all until the story end. I think people wallet get more itchy that way.
They probably didn't expect her to be popular just like everyone else.
What I think they should do is announce part 2 gacha with Abigail, Lavinia and Sheba on Monday since that'll give enough time for people to catch up with the story
But then again, Christmas 2017 will probably be announced next week since they'd likely wanna get that out of the way before Christmas break rather than after it

Conversation 6: Uuum, Archer of the Argonauts…...Yes, that’s right! Atalanta! I got along well with her for some reason. She was nice to talk to while I was on the island. We even cursed at each other for having bad tastes, I think. (When you have Atalanta)
Conversation 7: Hmm, that’s my little sister, Pasiphae’s child right? The one who grew the horns of a bull. I’m not particularly acquainted with him but…..but! Who’s the one who taught him to say irritating things like that!? Make him stop calling me ”aunt” so sincerely. (When you have Asterios)
Conversation 8: I like sailors! I’m welcome to all, even pirates like Blackbeard! It’s just, he was a bit…..too loud, calling me things like loli BBA and legal loli, so I turned him into a pig and hung him up in the kitchen’s cold room but…..is that bad? (When you have Edward Teach)
Regarding the Holy Grail: The Holy Grail….If I were to say that an impossible wish is what is giving form to the existence known as the Witch Circe, I wonder if you would laugh.
I don't think there's any law against the sexualization of cosmic horrors. Though Cthulhu cultists might kidnap and rape you for wanting to fuck one of their deities.
OMG OMG Lovecraftian Gods may become Servants ! I am glad I saved up Quartz, but I think may have used all my luck as of now since I got Angra Mainyu yesterday (Well, got a bad day yesterday so I like to think it was a compensation xD). But if they make Nyarlathotep rollable, I am so gonna whale, I will want him even more than I want to get Gilgamesh ! :o
With Lovecraftian universe, they can go to other universes, or the Moon or the land of dreams, talk with cats too :o

Don't think Nyarlathotep will be rollable. The entity Ashiya Douman is working for seems to certainly be Nyarlathotep in light of the new reveals, so Nyarl seems to be one of the main antagonists of part 2. Which means he'll get Goetia status and probably not be rollable. We can't summon him unless he decides to summon himself too since he has EX rank Divinity.
Abigail is the Dunwich Horror though, if she tickles your fancy.
>they can go to other universes
This does indeed seem to be what's gonna be happening in FGO2. What seems to be a Yith appears to the protagonist at the end of Salem.
Which means he'll get Goetia status and probably not be rollable. We can't summon him unless he decides to summon himself too since he has EX rank Divinity.
Okay okay but... what if Nyarl is a cute silver-haired caucasian chick who wants the D? (That is, the JAlter treatment)
Tbh, I wouldn't put it behind TM. >.>
Edit:
It'd be cool to see how we would defeat the Outer Gods tho, considering how they're pure mindfuck and all(unless Nasu nerfs them or something). I don't get why they're weak to Alteregos tho.
