Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online (light novel)

| GGO was the strongest part of the second season and probably of the franchise so far in general, what I dont get is why some plebs think because they dont like it for whatever reason nobody liked it. But even though I liked the original GGO part, I dont really get why this is a thing. The premise looks super boring. If I remember correctly the setting for GGO was kinda cyberpunk so there is that. Im genuinely surprised why someone decided to write a story about GGO. A spin off about SAO which covers more about the original game and what happened inside? Yes. This? Nay. EGOIST said: I'm fine with it, as long as it's as entertaining as the main series. It's funny how people become really judgemental when SAO is brought in to the table when there's a lot of shows far worse than SAO. GGO > Mother's Rosario MR was pretty boring and they introduced a character just her to die and I find it pretty pointless (it seems more of a side story if anything) and Asuna supposed development only stayed within that story and not outside of it lol, she's the same 'ol damsel in distress we know in love. I don't see why people put MR on a pedestal finally someone with common sense in this thread |

| I watched the first half of SAO and I personally didn't like it or hate it, didn't watch the second half since I heard that part was terrible. If it wasn't for the fact that I heard that this show was based off of a GOOD spin-off by the same guy who worked on Kino's Journey (sorry, terrible with names) I probably would have just ignored it. T̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶i̶n̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶a̶c̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶o̶l̶i̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶i̶n̶k̶ ̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶K̶i̶r̶i̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶t̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶1̶0̶/̶1̶0̶.̶ I am actually kind of hyped for this show all things considered. |
