Another new character Echizen who challengd our listless boy to a duel. We got to see a beautiful friendship here. First was Tanaka and Oota and now about Echizen and Miyano!

This screenplay style with excess time between dialogues, and especially after scenes is very fitting for the character(s?).
For example E04 06:17 ~ 06:25 – skipping ones that actually contributes to the plot buildup – 09:29 ~ 09:40, 17:59 ~ 18:09 ~ 18:15.

Unrelated, the cut at 13:49: 13:48 ⇒ 13:49 Tanaka on screen ⇒ 13:54 Tanaka looks at Ecchan ⇒ 14:00 Tanaka continues walking ⇒ 14:00. Tanaka spent 5 full seconds looking at Echizen and the screen just freezed for 5 seconds. It remembers me of a similar cut in a recent anime. In Shoushimin E01 in the cut at 21:12, after Kobato ran off the screen at 21:13, the screen also emptied for 6 seconds until he reappeared at 21:19.

A new character appears, a girl who seems rude but is actually very cute. The long skirts are the trend? I thought it was the opposite. Miyano very cute like always and she wants to be like Tanaka to be like Echizen, so she thinks Echizen is also very lazy then.
