I feel that the conflict isn't done as well as I've hoped. These characters seem to act according to their predetermined prewritten character description to a tee. Making it meta doesn't make an archetype any better. This series has "deconstruction" written all over its premise, but I've seen exactly zero of that so far, which is a real shame. A character like Alice should be having all kinds of existential crisis, but she's too busy acting like how her oftenly cliched archetype is made to act. The main lead, who is supposed to be a "sample" of reality is seemingly another typical otaku main character. I don't even feel intrigued by him and his friend who committed suicide. I can't believe how better this sounds on paper compared to how it actually is. Mamika has the potential to be very interesting whether she goes Seigi no Mikata or Vader, if they made the transition and development natural and believable. Meteora is the only character I actually kinda respect, compared to the rest of the cast. She actually uses her head, instead of being painfully blind and/or stupid. Not to mention, the overall conflict so far is being handled really poorly IMO. The mere existence of this villain subverts the story's interesting meta elements and puts focus on the uninteresting big bad. Heck, she's not really even a big "bad", as she's done nothing truly bad so far. There's no reason to just not sit and talk with her... which gets me to my final issue with how the story is progressing. If the antagonist girl wanted allies, why in the hell would she go and attack them? Her alleged goal of wanting to make the created worlds better, sowhy is she ruining her chances? What is this stupidity and why wasn't it handled better by the director? | Ketogenic diet is indeed pretty effective, but from my experience, just regularly changing your diet while keeping carbs generally down is the most comfortable way of losing weight. You won't even need an exercise regimen, just eating right and not letting your body settle on fixed eating habits would, slowly but surely, assist weight loss in the most healthy way possible. |

Indeed, the body is pretty clever in it's survival mechanism. If your diet and regimen drastically changes it goes into survival mode and tries to adapt and retain as much fat as possible while eating away at your muscles for energy. Scary as shit. You want your body to identify and use fat as energy instead of carbs. That's why you lower carbs in your meals. Get a smart scale to monitor your BMI, Muscle mass, Water content, etc if you're trying to lose weight. Best to always measure yourself in the morning as during the day you'll naturally gain a bit of weight but you'll burn through them in your sleep. Yup, just lower the carbs and occasionally move your body a bit and you're fine. Try to do some light lifting as well to tell your body you NEED these muscles (remember the body is clever at trying to survive so it sees protein and muscles less important compared to fat tissues). Cardio exercise isn't even needed. (from my experience at least, more time for gaming and movies) |

| Man, the new Yugioh anime is pretty good. Its remind of 5Ds where we don't have hyperactive kid as protagonist. Its card game in virtual reality where you can die in real life if you die in the game and also you play card game on hoverboard because fuck you. I am already used to weird dueling style. Konami is trying hard to push the new format, 3 monsters and 3 spell/trap fields thing. Its the same format as the Duel Link game. Also I dig the OP. |

The built up and char development paid off instead of leading to nowhere till the next movie is released. | This OST is something else. Now it's up there as my most favorite video game OST of all time alogside Persona 3. Heck, "Burn my Dread", "Heartful cry" and "The Battle (/Poem) for Everyone's Souls" aside, i think Nier's OST edges it overall. {NOTE: Do NOT listen to the OST if you haven't played the game yet. Before i commit to that ending, i think I'll first need to 100% the game, probably with a higher difficulty in the next playthrough. I'll definitely be coming back to this game again in the future, so i don't want to start it overpowered, especially when i heard that the enemies don't scale much at higher than lvl 80, so that's two birds with one stone. |
