| Et tu, Roux? Glemy's journey initially as a simp for Roux, then a troubled young soldier, and finally as an ambitious ruler is one of the things I liked most about ZZ. And he died by the very person who started his journey in here. He's probably not as mysterious as Char in 0079, or as menacing as Haman and Scirocco in Zeta, but I'd argue he's still comparable to them. Judau's speech kind of explained the theme of this series. Many humans' lives (the junk dealers, the fishermen, Sarasa's religion, the Blue Corps) entangled, many lives lost, all centering at egotism and a fanaticism toward a blood. It's an interesting exploration—if only the series could be more consistent on its tone. Haman still won't stop, will she? lol |
