Yeah I’ve seen online and people like it because of the atmosphere and music but I never hear anything about the story being good, just confusing.

It does not elaborate on the story - which is the state of the earth and how the proxies are to make it habitable again. It focuses on the background of the proxy of death, the dome and other side things. But truthfully, that is the way anime tends to do things. The is always a premise for the story that is neglected for other things.

Honestly, this show had the potential to be amazing. It's still fairly interesting, but it felt like giving you almost nothing for a long time, a few obscure clues here and there, then it hits you with lots of info straight in your face.

It was not handled well. I would still recommend it if you like solving puzzles, but don't expect entertainment. It's a pretty heavy watch.

I watched it when I was still pretty new to this type of anime/movies. I had to read a few theories and analyses and then rewatch certain scenes to make sense of it. Maybe watching it late at night and being tired didn't help either.

definetly yes. it's a masterpiece. but that's doesn't means that everyone will like ergo proxy. 'cause ergo proxy is so diffrent from other anime by any measure.

Ergo Proxy has Pino in it. So yes, this is a good anime.

One of the worst shows/movies I have ever watched, and I'm including both anime and non-anime alike

It was absolutely a waste of time

I say that as someone who absolutely adored little Pino. But even she could not save the overrated trash that is Ergo Proxy
