And yet you have certain elements really trying to push this idea that Gundam is dying out and that the show is just absolutely bombing it hard. It's the most streamed Gundam show ever so I'm not really sure you can look at the ratings as a total indicator and the show seems to be selling pretty well on Blu-Ray (especially for a day time show) and then there's the model kits that seem to be doing very well. When the forecast for Gundam's profit margin is up for next year that's a good sign of confidence in the product, not a sign that it's declining into a death spiral which Bandai would admit publicly too for their franchises like the sagging sales of Aikatsu, lower performance of Yo-Kai watch compared to last year as well as the misfortunes of the Arcade scene in general.

Still despite all this evidence from the company that runs it calling it a success (Gundam AGE was called a flop by Bandai for example so it's not like it doesn't happen) people still want to say it's a flop so I just don't know with fans these days, they'll believe what they want to.
