And yet you have certain elements really trying to push this idea that Gundam is dying out and that the show is just absolutely bombing it hard. It's the most streamed Gundam show ever so I'm not really sure you can look at the ratings as a total indicator and the show seems to be selling pretty well on Blu-Ray (especially for a day time show) and then there's the model kits that seem to be doing very well. When the forecast for Gundam's profit margin is up for next year that's a good sign of confidence in the product, not a sign that it's declining into a death spiral which Bandai would admit publicly too for their franchises like the sagging sales of Aikatsu, lower performance of Yo-Kai watch compared to last year as well as the misfortunes of the Arcade scene in general.

Still despite all this evidence from the company that runs it calling it a success (Gundam AGE was called a flop by Bandai for example so it's not like it doesn't happen) people still want to say it's a flop so I just don't know with fans these days, they'll believe what they want to.

I think you misread my comment but, then again as I read my post again, I think I was not clear. I was actually trying to say that the disc numbers doesn't matter for Gundam IBO whether we think they are good or not. It is already a success because of the numbers of Gunplas they have sold. It is MAL where the show is treated as if it's one of the worst mecha anime ever, when in reality, content and execution-wise, it is the best mecha anime that aired since I dunno when.

If anyone can name a better mecha TV anime that aired in recent years, I will slap myself so hard, that I will never mention Gundam IBO ever again.

I would nominate Soukyuu no Fafner Exodus for that position, just watch the original series, the OVA, the movie, and the final 2 seasons and get ready to slap yourself to hell and back.

Koyomimonogatari was solicited today as a single box release, June 29. Winter is saved. I predict over 20K. Already pre-ordered it.
