Hooray! I was just coming to ask about when the Spring 2015 season would be added. Now after looking through the beta changelog, I wish I'd known about it earlier.

How difficult would it be to include an option in Taiga to automatically download Beta versions?

In any case, Taiga is awesome as always. Is there any way I can tip you?

For some reason, with the latest beta, the DanMachi torrent by DameDesuYo gets recognized as a batch.

The torrent name is
> [DameDesuYo] DanMachi - 03 (1280x720 10bit AAC) [739F27C1].mkv (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka)

This also happens with some other torrents (like the AT-X rip of HighSchool DxD BorN's episode 3).

I doubt this is on purpose?

In other somewhat related news, my filter "Discard 'Batch'" with conditions "File Category is Batch" is not working (even if it's at the top of the filters list). It should have discarded the aforementioned torrent (as it was detected as a 'Batch'), but it didn't.

On a difficulty scale from 1 to 10, it'd be a duck. On a more serious note, beta releases are quite rare (the last one was two years ago) and they come with some warnings and such. If I ever decide on making them more common though, I can surely add an option to check for beta releases. I think it'd be easy to do in terms of programming.

First of all, thanks. As I've written on the page @Aru_ mentioned, I currently have a different idea for accepting tips and donations.

Since the name doesn't end with a valid file extension (i.e. ".mkv" is in the middle of it), Taiga thinks that it might be a batch release. That's wrong, and I should tell her sometime.

Torrent categorization doesn't work the way you expect, at the moment. For instance, Nyaa simply returns "English-translated Anime" for pretty much all releases and doesn't have a "Batch" category at all. Taiga doesn't overwrite the categories provided in the RSS feed, it just regroups them while displaying them on the Torrents page, which doesn't have any effect on filters. I agree that it's confusing, and I'll look into this for future releases.

Is there a point in adding AnimeSols as provider when it's going down in less than two weeks?

I was about to make a post saying the same thing. This is a partial quote from the AnimeSols website. Ofcourse this could just have been an April Fools joke that was never removed from the site considering when it was posted, who know. I guess we will just have to wait and see, but since I never have used that site before it would not affect me either way.

It saddens me to say that animesols.com will be shutting down on May 1st, 2015. The videos will remain up until for the next month if you would like to watch them. Thanks to everyone who pledged!

It's actually been more than two months since I added support for Anime Sols. I'm afraid I didn't catch the recent news. Even if I did though, I think I wouldn't have removed it before release. Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

Can't delete entries from list anymore...

For multiple selections, the Delete menu item is still there. I may re-add it to the single selection menu in the next release; seems like some people got confused about that. In the meantime, you can still delete entries with the Del key on your keyboard.

Well I think it's pretty rare that you'd want to delete more than one item at a time from a list, so it would be better. Didn't know Del button worked.

Also I liked being able to navigate the list by typing a letter to scroll down there automatically (like in Windows Explorer) and now it defaults to the search bar, it doesn't even work for filtering until I type 2 letters minimum so is that a mistake?

The rest is nice though.

It's an unintentional side effect of being able to reorganize Anime List columns. The previous behavior (which I too prefer) requires Anime Title column to be the first one, otherwise it doesn't work. And due to another technical limitation, Airing Status had to take the first place... As a workaround, I decided to forward the keys to the search bar. I've recently got another idea, but I'm not sure if it's going to work. If it does, it'll bring back the previous behavior.

Wouldn't disabling the Airing Status column work? Obviously that'd... disable the Airing Status column and I imagine an option for this sort of thing wouldn't work too well but I personally I'd sacrifice the column for easier navigation.

That column wasn't there in the first place, you know. I *had to* put it there (and lock its position) in v1.2 to make things work. Anyway, as I said, I'm going try out another idea that might just make everyone happy. Except myself, of course. I'm chronically unhappy.

What's the behaviour of Now Playing when nothing is playing? Does it only show stuff that is mapped to a directory now? Because nothing is showing for me now. Didn't use it much anyway but just want to make sure.

Also the title recognition for "[title] OVA 2" doesn't seem to work when it's in its own entry on MAL since it's detected as an episode 2, not sure if it used to work before or if it's due to recognition changes.

If an anime is on your currently watching list and its next episode is available on your library folders, it's displayed under the Continue Watching section. You may need to scan available episodes for them to appear. Other sections of Now Playing list anime that you plan to watch.

What's the exact filename and the anime it's supposed to be identified as? I may need to manually add it to the relations list.
Edit: Never mind, I got it.
