Who upset Bahamut?

I've always liked Bahamut. Being a big fan of the Final Fantasy series, one sees Bahamut a lot.

Recently I've been noticing enraged super Bahamuts. What I want to know is why is he doing these things? Who created him? And if he is able to say, destroy the world (and this anime all the gods and demons) what would he do when everything is gone?

I watched this anime all in one sitting last night and i really enjoyed it. I just couldn't stop thinking about Bahamut, I didn't understand who made him and why.

Any thoughts or theories out there?
